vejlin
So far I've only broken 2 skellies. Both were skellie warriors where the shield arm broke off at the shoulder when I cleaned the mini. My breakers have survived many demos including unruly kids banging them together several times before I could stop them.
camRogers
i've only had one of my warriors lose their sword arm because people decided to use them with out me knowing and they broke it..........if he has 40 skellies it should be around 1000.pts because i had nothin but skellies other then leaders and had 44 but i was playing my friend wit his crucaders and i one with two people left stuiped Judgement but that was before i knew about crypt legion and i went basiclly unchallanged throught the last tornament

jdripley
i've only had one of my warriors lose their sword arm because people decided to use them with out me knowing and they broke it..........if he has 40 skellies it should be around 1000.pts because i had nothin but skellies other then leaders and had 44 but i was playing my friend wit his crucaders and i one with two people left stuiped Judgement but that was before i knew about crypt legion and i went basiclly unchallanged throught the last tornament It's not that hard to read He says that only one skeleton of his broke, and a friend did it not him. 40 skeletons runs around 1000 points, with leaders of course, because that's the sort of army he plays. But when he played it against his friend's Crusader army he got smacked around by Judgement and only barely won! But when he found out about Crypt Legion it really improved his game and he did very well in the last tournament. See, not so hard really
camRogers
Well since no one is posting i guess i can put up one of my lists Lord Kentar-108 Sir Dauron-173/DF 6xBreakers-120 Railor-31/ 4xBreakers-80 Aysa-127/GM-45 2xBindsoul/Dispellx1-10 Convo.Fearx2-30 Ralior-31 5xBreakers-100 Ralior-31 5xBreakers-100 =1000 This is one of the basic list i play around with i twik it ever now and then and it seems to get better if anyone see anything please tell me i'm more then happy then to use ur ideas..Also this list is used to break up the oppoents force then support as Aysa brings in backup kinda of an overwelm but if Aysa isnt takeing out you can quickly exspand ur force to twice its size
grey wolf
If you want my 2 cents, I would fill out those units some more 4 or 5 breakers per railor seems like a waste. Drop dauron and a railor put more breakers per unit and a bone horror. Warroirs are cheaper but then you lose mav so thats a trade off, life transfer is a great spell . Thats my 2 cents. camRogers
daruon saves me alot i made an anti-elf list at 1500 that im going to post soon... I like the bone horror but i kinda lean towards Ralior i mean 31 points and the more units means i tend to control the flow of the game however takes for the idea i most likely will try it out
Sivrel
I just realised that one song Necropolis players will either love or hate is Move Your Dead Bones which is sung by Doctor Reanimator. I know this has probably been pointed out before but it just hit me today. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...bones&hl=en
grey wolf
I've a few questions Jos Gebblar the merc mage from the hanged has the necromancer SA. It says he can go in the crypt legion that makes him the only living model in the crypt legion list, anyone think that'll change when the official rules come out? Also this question may seem stupid but I have to ask cause ppl like starting things, because he can be fielded as a necropolis he gets all the necropolis abilities right? Sivrel
my guess would be that it depends on whether you're trying to field a necropolis army or a merc/freelance army.
camRogers
Jos only get the necropolis abilities when hes in a all necropolis army however he can use the spells and items outside of the necropolis
Kengar
OK, so I'm looking at making Necropolis my main army (I have Crusaders and Reven too, but I have more undeadies than the others). Here's what I've got right now: Leaders Judas Bloodspire Moandain Azarphan Elsabeth Briarkiss Athak Railor Sir Gadrun Troops Crypt Bat (1) Zombies (3) Skeletal Breakers (8) Skeletal Warriors (4) Skeletal Archers (4) Deathriders (2) Elites Naomi Gauntfield Solos Banshee What I want is a solid "default list" of 1000 points (Spells & Equipment included). It doesn't have to be Crypt Legion or anything like that (but it can be), and -as much as possible- I'd like to utilize what I already own instead of buying a ton more lead (I don't know how often I'll get ot play the big list, mostly I'll probably be running quickie 3-way 500 point fights for friends unless some of them start building their own armies). So pimp my list, if so inclined.
Kengar
Well, here's a Crypt Legion I cobbled together on my lunch hour. I know there's some CL-specific stuff I should use instead, but I don't have Necropolis book with me. See what you think: 1000 pt Crypt Legion TROOP 1: Moandain (Warlord, 5-11/2, Mage 3/12) +LME, Dispel, Scare, Ice Shards, Bolt, Fear x2 170+75 = 245 4 Skeletal Warriors 68 3 Zombies 72 385 total TROOP 2: Railor (Sgt. 5-10/0, Mage 1/2 ) +Fear, Ice Shards 31+15 = 46 4 Skeletal Archers 96 142 total TROOP 3: Sir Gadrun (Sgt., 6-10/0, Cavalry) +LMW 68+15 = 83 2 Death Riders +Musician 90+15 = 105 188 total TROOP 4: Azarphan (Captain, 4-11/1) +LMW, LMA 79+30 = 109 6 Skeletal Breakers 120 229 total TROOP 5: Kaena, Banshee 54 total GRAND TOTAL:

Kengar
What are IP & DF (I'm sure it's obvious, but I'm drawing a blank). So drop Azarphan for another Railor, huh? And don't bother with any spells for the Railors? I can see reducing the points on losing the captain, but is Railor a good choice for leading a bunch of breakers into the fray?
