JoeGKushner
Too bad they weren't taking credit cards at Gen Con. "Yeah, the processor came in after we left." "gee, Fed Ex won't forward anything over night eh? Ah well, off to the Confrontation booth."
Frustrated Father
I've seen you hollering about this in several other forums Joe, sorry we couldn't accomodate you with the credit card, believe me, I would have rather have had it as well, but frankly, overnighting it and going from there was as much a bother as anything so the service was canceled. Regardless, I'm sure Confrontation was happy to see you. :D On subject though, the contest has about two weeks left for those interested. - Nathan
JoeGKushner
These things happen. When people ask me what to expect at Gen Con, I tell them every year it'll be that someone's credit card machine isn't working. Last year it was Rich who does Order of the Stick. tzor
Hey this year wasn't all that smooth for him either. They had to reboot the machine when I handed Rich my card.

Honest question, not a jab. Just seems, to an outside, to make a lot more sense. Did Confrontation have a problem with their stuff too? I didn't buy any of their minis. Local store carries 'em and I try to get stuff at Conventions I can't get at the local watering hole. Bought some Lance & Laser and Magnificent Egoes. Our store has some of the latter, but not the stuff I'm always looking for.
Frustrated Father
Package came in Wednesday night or Thursday morning, wife wasn't sure when it showed up. She could have had it send out Thursday night, it would have arrived Friday sometime, and I could have had it for Saturday/Sunday. Frankly, for the cost of the POS system that I was picking up and for what was going on with it and the cost of getting it there and then having missed it for two days already, I didn't feel the need to have it. It was a rather nice little gemgaw that I was after that did everything right then and there, no entering in info late at night in the hotel, etc. Cost me some sales certainly, but in the end, that was how it was. Sales are done online as well so they can be picked up there just as easily. Next year I don't anticipate this problem, particularly as I'll have it months ahead of the convention season instead of the promissed ten days or so before we left (that was an interesting conversation I can tell you). JoeGKushner
POS? Is that point of sale or pice of s? I guess you won't be using that company again in the future! I've been trying to get Games Plus to carry the Wyrd line of figures. Haven't seen 'em in the store yet but I'll have to check again next week. We should tag team em. ;) Can never get enough spiders. And a consistent supply of those cool bases would rock.

I mean if he can carry some Warcrow and some Heresy (but not the newer stuff ) then I'm hoping we'll see some Wyrd miniature there.
