Funny, Mr. Snack, I guess when I get my computer computer operation up again, I'll have to put a picture in the profile section. However, I have been told that I resemble the river troll from the Warlord line. Glad you got the package in a timely manner, Heisler, as I haven't been having very good luck with the Axis, AL post office. I hope you enjoy the dwarf.

Let's see... just about a week left to the deadline, and my project (unfinished) sits buried among all the other stuff from the move. I'm going to go out on a limb and guarantee that I will not finish in time. Maybe by the end of the month...

My Exchange mini just went in for its second dunk in Castrol.

It's driving me crazy. I'm not a good painter, but I really want this to come out nice.

I'm hoping to get it done by the deadline, but if I keep this up, it will be a little late.

-Newt, with apologies

My exchange mini is probably about 80% finished. I've got the base completely finished and on the miniature it's self I've finished the armor, trim, and clothing. I've still got a few details like the cloak, and weapon to finish off. The miniature should be done by the end of the weekend and in the mail by early next week (Just in time for the deadline)

Overall, I am about 50% done. More than that on the mini, but I haven't started the base, yet. I am mostly happy with the colors, the first couple of shades on most things, but a couple of areas need redone. I should make the deadline just fine by finishing up this weekend, snapping pics and shipping out early next week. Then again, I've been wanting to try a little touch of freehand detail... :upside:

[edit March 11] Then again, it seemed now was not the time to try too many new things and risk ruining what seemed to be working pretty well. So, it's finished, sealed, pic'd and packed, ready to go out tomorrow.
