Necropolis and +1 Tough

Alright it's great to see all Necropolis players can now get back up, I'm all for that as being a former player. but my question is if you Coupe a Necropolis fig does he still have a chance to get back up, or is he then just dead?

I was explained that they still get the +1 Tough, they just don't get any of the orginal tough. So if the figure was Tough/2 he no longer gets back up on 7, 8, 9, and 10, he just gets back up on 9, 10. Is this correct? Or when you Coupe them they are flat out dead?

you heard correct.

For example the grave horror has something like a tough 4 normal, with the Crypt legion list, it is at tough 5. If someone coups it before it gets a chance to roll, then it would become a tough 1.

So, it would still have tough and no way for the enemy to completely take it off the field without it getting a roll, but they can atleast make the roll a higher needed one.

Same goes for Dwarves against a crypt legion. Bane only does that first auto coup, so if a dwarf kills a grave horror it would go straight to tough 1.

If a Model with Dark Energy makes their Tough check, they are back on their last track, which includes all their special abilities.

We'll use the Grave Horror as the example.

I charge in and Stun the Grave Horror in a default Necro list - Tough/5

I charge in and Stun the Grave Horror in a Crypt Legion list - Tough/5 + Dark Energy

I charge in and Stun the Grave Horror and CdG in a default Necro list - Dead

I charge in and Stun the Grave Horror and CdG in a Crypt Legion list - Dark Energy

No matter what, if the Grave Horror makes its Tough check, via Tough/5 or Dark Energy, when it's back on it's last track, it is once again going to have Tough/5 + Dark Energy (in Crypt Legion) just like any other Model making a Tough Check.
