whats good for the goos is good for the gander... yes, anyone can take a single non faction model (doesnt even have to be a 200+ point model). But only a single non faction model.

As for bounty points, I admit that I never like the whole "when you cast a spell you give your opponent those points no matter its affects or whether your caster survives", but I can understand the reasoning behind it. So, we're gonna do a compromise and go with half. That is anytime a spell is cast it gives half the value of that spell (rounded up) to your opponent whether or not your caster survives. If your opponent is able to remove your caster from play then they will receive the total value of the caster and spells and upgrades, etc.. etc..

Time will be called at the two hour marks. Play will stop immediately. Any stunned models left on the table at that time will have to make tough rolls to determine accrued bounty points.

Otherwise, collecting points should be the same as in the book, killing and couping...

Please clarify what "shooters" are. Is it any model with a ranged attack? So, for example, Lunk with his range 6 RAV 0 attack is a shooter?

Anything with a RA is considered a shooter. Even Lunk. So, if you took Lunk then you could also choose bull orc archers and skeeters and that would count as one of the two factions that you can pull from.

I said it the way I did for a reason.. I understand that it will create a couple of issues here and there. But, it also opens things up quite a bit in other aspects... as I did not limit it to just 2 types of shooters or 2 types of adepts as I have seen several tourneys do recently as they tried to help solve the freelance "issues"...

One more question, Jason. Since there is the distinct possibility that some people may be fielding a non-typical model in their faction (to meet the 3 200pt models requirment), is the "standard" 3-color rule being enforced? If so, one of my commission painters is about to get a nasty surprise... :;):

Well, I'm definitely in, and I think DragonPynk is gonna play as well (she was testing her force on Sunday). I'm still poking Weltrath with a stick to try to convince him to come play too.

I had a question last night about the "one model from another faction" rule.

If I am fielding an army using the Bull Orc sublist from the Reven book, am I able to use the above rule and take a Hill Giant as one of my three 200+ point models, without losing my faction abilities? Or do I need to take a model from another completely different faction, like the Nefsokar?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Well, I poked harder (and with a sharper stick), but Weltrath is punking out. So, looks like just DragonPynk and I will be coming up to actually play the tournament, unless I can interest out local dwarf player...

I will probably have my Nefsokar, so tell your Dwarf player "Sokar has Beer"
