dewen
Has anyone seen the stats on these? Any idea what Merc sublist? 14317: Jos Gebblar, Mercenary Necromancer 14320: Darkthrall Priestess If the Darkthrall Priestess is an evil cleric, I might get a little concerned The last thing Darkspawn needs is to recruit a Merc cleric. Those pain tokens are all the "healing" they need.
Steven Page
I know that Gebblar is a mage for Boris and the "Hanged Men", not that Leisynn needs any help:-)....I'm betting the same sub-group for the lady of the cloth.
joshuaslater
Gebblar is just a cool "Uncle Fester" lookin' Necromancer, and I'll buy him whether I can play'em or not. Would be nice for my Darkspawn to have some healing though. Hmmm.

Besides, if the +mercs rule is being used, they can already take the lupine shaman. -StV.

A standard size 45-65pt cleric would be an incredible ally for Darkspawn.
spiritual_exorcist
Sorry, you'll just have to eat it up. A cleric paired with the Darkspawn is just one of a myriad of combinations the Mercs offer to fill gaps in various armies shortcomings. <<Shrug>> Reaper seems unconcerned by this, so either they have a vital plan or they they are unconcerned by such changes reworking the entire dynamics of the game. In this case it really depends what kind of power level the cleric is on, could just be CP 3 or 4.

Or maybe they think those sorts of changes are a GOOD THING. -StV. That could very well be the case, we'll just have to wait and see how, and whether the dynamics of mercenary forces are implemented into existing factions. It has indeed been debated to death, Reaper knows some of us like it, some of us don't like it, and others think there needs to be some sort of price paid. At this point the ball is in their court. Which is fine, it is their game, we as their fan base have let them know about the possibilities we see arising, and armed with such knowledge I have little doubt they're making an informed decision. No matter what happens a portion of people playing the game will disagree with the outcome, while others will pat Reaper on the back. Mercs are here to stay, and at least we are getting some pretty cool models coming out within the scope of their factions.

Stubbdog
thats because it was not the cleric that was released... it was the sergeant that was released. Or at least that is what arrived with my restock order...
ecs05norway
Still, it's quite interesting. And definitely going on my 'to buy' list.
spiritual_exorcist
CP 7 Mage with MAV 3 and DV 10...now that is what I call a fighter/Mage...eat your hearts out Strach and THarian...
Stubbdog
I havent opened the blister cause its for retail, but the thing that has me intrigued the most on this at the moment is that 100 point price tag. Even the Reven Yagun Oog is only something like 80 points... There is gonna have to be some serious SAs, or possibly INNATE spell there to raise to 100 points before throwing spells on there. I admit I have come close to buying it for myself and then adding another one to the shop just to see. But, I think I can wait a little longer to see when they get him added to the RG site. SPEAKING OF WHICH>>>> ITS UP!!!!
