shakhak
That would be really sweet! Since I haven't read the lupine fluff in the core book yet, I'll be doing that tonight, or the fluff in the crusader book... Does anyone know if Lupines in human form are human sized, or are they large(giant) humans? From the published fluff, the Lupines are shapeshifting members of a human clan called the Koborlas. Theres not a whole lot, but there is some backround in the core book right next to the data card of Lupine lord, shaman, and rager. I read the small bits of fluff today. Three little paragraphs and I'm fairly excited to see what else makes into the blister. Only the highest quality... sounds like my kind of faction :) Picked up the box set shortly after reading the paragraphs too. I'm glad there is thinking the Lupines will be fleshed out this way; they may be seen by some as cheaper knockoffs of the Confrontation Wolfen otherwise. I hope the stay a visual step away fromt he Wolfen of Confrontation also. Keeping the Lupines wirey and furry really gives them a completely different flavor than the Wolfen, and it's a flavor myself and others seem to like. Staying on subject, I'd like to see more Lupines that are thin, wirey, ferocious and aren't afraid to strap on a breast plate or wield a sword the size of an ogre. And if they are really the highest quality soldier, I want the highest quality of sculpts to represent them :)
Tsetsen Muur
with edits As a sub-list I want to see a High elf faction, a product of the Tirithilian war machine fast, deadly and arrogant (SP?). More armor less woodly goodly folk of the forest. The elves are our "high elves", wood elves live in the Woodspike forest, and grey elves (the ones that are left) don't have a homeland. Taltos is basically equivalent to Adon's middle east. Now that could be cool. Perhaps not a full faction, but a Leader, elite and adepts of grey elves that have adapted to a nomadic, almost Khermi-like lifestyle. I see them as Neutral, with the ability to integrate with either the Elf or Nefsokar factions. In terms of game use, I'm not so sure. Perhaps something like a deathseeker/dervish with throwing knives?

I love it when little hints are "leaked" when it comes to what minis might be in the works. More soldiers in my own internal struggle already having an Elf army and having just started an Overlords army. I will have to be schizophrenic, or beat up on Storm . cutebutpsycho
Okay, now I don't play Warlord (yet-but will be getting together with another board member soon to learn) but I would sure love it if more of the grunts/adepts packs had a female sculpt. For example, if I were doing elves, I could have the grunts/adepts that were females if I went to the boneyard and ordered lots. I would love to see Warlords, Captains, Sergeants, Heros, Grunts and Adepts available as females so you could theoretically have an all female army (as you can have an all male army now for just about every humanoid faction.) I'd probably still put males in the army, but since I can't proxy even with DHL minis if I ever want to be in official tournaments, I have to have males in the army. rgtriplec
I would like to see some halfling grunts, and a couple elites and leaders. Since elves are shooting based, more grunts... maybe rangers with short bows or slingers or a stripped down bowman without any special abilities. vejlin
While I like halflings, making more warlord halflings would contradict the fluff.
rgtriplec
While I like halflings, making more warlord halflings would contradict the fluff. Why is that? I'm curious what in the fluff is contradictory?
Qwyksilver
In the core rulebook. Halflings are VERY rare. Dingo Appledimple stands out because his race are seldom seen in Taltos.
Stubbdog
Personally, I'd like to see more as of yet non identified monsters and creatures. Admittedly, it seems to fit with the Darkspawn the most, but it could work in other factions. I know that its fun to think of elves with Stags, or cheetahs, or panthers or some such. Its kinda obvious to picture the Reptus with some form of dragons and snakes. We already have dwarves with bears, and orcs with rhinos, and tons of horse riders. Those are all cool and I dont want to take away from any of them. I just like the idea that this is a fantasy game and that new and as of yet unidentified fantastical type monsters and creatures could come about. At RCon 2006, I had a chance to see Tim's original drawing idea for what eventually transformed into the Reptus moo cow. Tim's original drawing was a really cool 6 legged part mammel part dragony type beast that was to be a steed that was awesome!!! I thinkit would be really cool to come out with new fantastical things to stretch the game beyond its current one step away from other games look. Again, Darkspawn seems to have few trying to go there, I would just like to see more and not only of the demonistic approach. I have been thinking this for a while, have no idea why I just chose to post now. Thank you.. (* gets off soapbox )

Who's to say that concept art won't still come to light, either as Reptus, or perhaps another army. ig creepy lizard type thing would work well for Darkspawn. outek
I wouldn't mind something along the following lines. For Necropolis: Mounted Crimson Knights (a heavy cav option). For Lupines: something along the lines of a wolfpack.

DBlagg
What would be nice is to have something like the DHL giant skeletal warrior as a match for the Reven Hill Giants in the Necropolis Crypt Legion. It would also be nice to see a Necropolis ghost Warlord, another ghost captain and sergeant and some ghost adepts and grunts in their own subfaction with its own special abilities so you can field an entire ghost army.
