Tommy
Something has been going wrong with the boards the last 24 hours. Things are so slow that pages - particularly "new post" pages - are taking nearly ten minutes to fully load, smileys are only working haphazardly, even Firefox is regularly grinding to a near total halt and "Timing Out" when trying to bring-up pages. What's up?????? Tommy. :(
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted December 15, 2006 Moderator Share Posted December 15, 2006 Try opening a command prompt and typing 'tracert www.reapermini.com' to see where the connection is bogging down. I'm not having the same problem.

Gus Landt
Whoops! My bad. My elbow bumped the speed dial on the server. I cranked it back up to 11 now.
kristof65
Tommy - Any chance your ISP is Qwest? I was having major access problems with my domains yesterday that turned out to be problems with Qwest - they had some major switches down (in Salt Lake, I beleive) and completely stopped my ability to access some websites, and slowed down others. It only peripherally affected my link to the forums, but it did slow them down at times. EDIT: Doh! Now I notice you're in Australia - so obviously you don't have Qwest. My bet is that their switches being down affected traffic elsewhere, and you noticed it.
mattmcl
I was having trouble yesterday too. Now it back up to blazing. Somebody hosting World of Warcraft on the Reaper server?

Super Administrators kit Posted December 17, 2006 Super Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2006 I may swap the squirrel out with a random Gus doing a "who, me?" pose.

Neuman with a "What, Me Worry?" caption with a computer melting behind him
Lars Porsenna
While talking about slowdowns, I usually find the webstore to be awefully slow. Especially if I'm browsing for a specific figure, but don't remember which one it is... Damon.
