Wow, you all have me beat, hands down. But I will share a little artery-clogging goodness that my friends beg me to make whenever I'm having a party... Bacon & Cream Cheese. I used to have it as a sammich as a kid (*shudder*), but now I just serve it with crackers.

That's not weird at all. As soon as we go back on dairy around here (long story) I'll likely make that for Heidi. After all, it features two of our favorite things: Dairy fat and BACON!

I crave mock duck with potatoes. There is a little restaurant in our old neighborhood that makes it and I just can't get enough. Maybe I'll stop there tonight, thinking about it is making me hungry!

Other odd cravings:

Baked beans on toast

Hominy/potato/egg/random leftover meat dish that I make then top with steak sauce

rolled up turkey and swiss cheese

Nothing so vile as some of you.

SPAM I can't tolerate anymore. I live in MN and my grandpa wanted to support the local economy, so we had spam at least once a week when I was a kid. It was made into sandwiches, put in eggs, any way he could feed it to me. Although I do still love spam spread.......

I have two that make people shudder when they see me eating them, both ice cream type stuff related:

Natural Vanilla Bean Blue Bell ice cream with sour cream and cheddar Ruffles potato chips

And the good one, makes me want it just thinking about it...

Blue Bunny Orange sherbet (I don't like the sweet flavored brands) and plain ol' Premium crackers :wub:

Beyond that, um..... Well I like white jasmine rice with milk, butter, and sugar, gods is that decadant.

Guilty pleasure food would be Peanut Butter and Pickle. Be sure they are dill pickles, or it just tastes funny.

(and I detest penut butter sandwiches...but these...mmmmm)

I also used to take white bread, spread on some margarine, and then spread on white sugar and eat.

Spam is just wrong, and so is Sour Kraut...speaking of...

Cast iron skillet

1 can of diced potatoes

1 pack (or 2) of bacon

1/2 dozen eggs

1 jar saurkraut

as much cheese as you can grate before your hand gets squirly and falls off.

cook bacon, add eggs and potatoes, cook, add sour kraut, cook, add cheese, toss in the oven at like 350-ish bake about 5 minutes or untill it looks like its done.

For me, my bizarre food combination...mine aren't usually that wierd.

One thing I have always loved is crumbling Doritoes in my Tuna Salad sandwiches. This is even better if you make it a Tuna Melt and dip it in Campbell's Tomato soup as you eat.

I also add ketchup to boxed mac and cheese, but I don't think that's too gross or bizarre since I have seen other people do it too.

my peanut butter and banana sandwiches get me some odd looks but are good. ::D:

now the peanut butter and spam sandwich my friend eats is just wrong.

I love PB and banana sandwiches. They're really good grilled.

Of course I love PB, I've been know to put it on about anything...hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, chili...

Nothing too wierd. Every once in a while I enjoy a nice plate of Corned Beef Hash (ground up corned beef with potatoes) and enough tabasco sauce to cause the burn. Habit I got in the military eating too many MREs.

I also LOVE pork roll sandwiches, though I find it disurbing its not offered much outside the Mid-atlantic states of the US. Like mine plain with ketchup!

As I am allergic to Bananas I make Peanutbutter, Marshmellow Cream, and melted chocolate Sandwhiches... Toast Bread and spead peanutbutter and marshmellow cream while still warm, let sit for a few moments to come to room temp and add chocolate. Put togeth and pinch the crust together as to not loos any of the chocolatey goodness and Eat.

And I really Miss Blue Bell Ice Cream....

:mellow::huh::wacko:

Wow...

uh...

Wow...

And I thought my brother putting Miracle Whip spread on his egg and bacon breakfast taco was wrong. Or the Nestle Quik in the orange juice.

I think my worst was a tuna fish and sauerkraut sandwhich.

Mostly, my cravings tend towards Taco Bell or Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter Cereal. I also want hot wings with blue cheese a lot.

I do like ranch dressing in one way, and one way only. On pepperoni pizza. I thought it was gross the first time I heard about it, until I tried it.

But my son beat us all. Fried Cheese Stick in applesauce. He didn't like it either, but the face he made was priceless, especially since he had been trying to get his daddy to eat it.

One other craving I tend to get (beside chile con queso and french fries) is Pork 'n Beans and ground beef. Brown the meat with some Worchestshire Sauce, dump in a large can of Van de Camp's Pork 'n Beans, and slather it on plain white bread. Looks horrid (I even get comments on how bad it looks), but it warms you up and is really good.

My dad is the KING of eating stuff that's gross. I think he was an ogre in a previous lifetime

When he was in gradeschool, he got to watch a film (remember those old B&W geography films?). This one was about Mexico and at one point explained how they liked to eat tortillas "which are like pancakes" filled with frijoles "which are beans that are fried".

So ogre-boy goes home to my grandmother's kitchen, makes a few pancakes (NOT with corn), then fries up half a can of lima beans.

...and he ATE the darned things! EWWWWW!

And with this one post, I begin to understand why Spike likes the Reven faction so much... it reminds her of family!

On the topic of other weird foods, anyone here ever had scrapple? It's a kind of a grey, squishy, congealed-like substance made from the scraps of a butchered pig (mixed with cornmeal, IIRC), generally fried and served as a breakfast food. Looks awful, tastes pretty damn good, especially with a little maple syrup drizzled over it...

My big craving isn't really a wierd food, but I am told I act wierd when I get them.

Tim-Tams.

What are Tim-Tams you ask? Only the greatest cookie (biscuit) ever made: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam

I became addicted to them when I lived in Australia. Since I've moved back to the states, and they were hard to get, I would do weird things and act crazy just to get some/eat some. My wife laughs at me, because I'll talk to them before I eat them - "Oh, I've missed you so much - come to papa." MMm crunch gobble crunch.

But now my craving is subsiding, because Cost Plus World Market now carries them!
