Hinton
Thanks for the heads-up! I picked up a couple brushes a while back, but I can always use some more.
Rastl
*sigh* I just bought mine! And I find out that there's a retail outlet not too far from my favorite fabric store and Indian food area. I see a road trip coming up in my future! Thanks for letting us know.
Vil-hatarn
Nice...I was just considering the sorry state of my brushes. Thanks for the tip!
vutpakdi
Dick Blick prices for Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes normally run in the $7 to $11 range for sizes 0 to 2. So, the prices don't seem unusually good for Dick Blick online, even if they are great prices. If you are ordering from Dick Blick online, be careful of shipping, which is $8 for orders up to $30. I recommend buying 3 brushes at a time (and possibly a ceramic palette) as a result. Ron
Spatula
Alright, ordered (7)brushes and brush cleaner for $56...that includes 'shipping&handling'. hmmm...7 brushes at $8 a pop, with free brush cleaner, woohoo!
Rodnik
Just a note for those that may have a store close by.... Dick Blick is in the frustrating practice of having two different pricing structures for online vs. brick and mortar. If you go to the store, you can (generally speaking) expect to pay close to full retail list for the brushes---which, at last check, was around 18 bucks US---regardless of the pricing offered online.
