Forlorn Hope
No, that's super-duper brand new fluff straight from my head to you. Actually it came from a conversation between Pat and myself about the mini. When you see the Eagle miniature, you'll understand. Super-duper fluff? And just for me? Makes me all mimsy inside Well cool - thanks, and it seems like maybe there are some images of forthcoming CAV models floating around? I, for one, would love to see these posted somewhere, to aid in conversions if nothing else (because if I am going to buy some Kikyus for Eagles I would like to have an image to go for when I tweak them). Is posting these a possibility? edit: hold the phone -- when I "see the Eagle miniature?" Is this going to be released at some point? Mad Pat
Yes the Eagle is slated for release but we have no time frame yet. There actually is a small bit of fluff in JOR1 under either the Kikyu or Tsuiseki that talks about the diffrent UCORS who bought the license to produce these units. Both mention Mitso-Ta sold the preduction right. The kikyu to KDM and Tsuiseki to Hughes-Marietta. I do remember see the Eagle somewhere... It was simular to the Kikyu but more angular and thicker wings.

Broode
I just posted a (my) kitbashed version for the Rudegern in the WIP thread for those who may be interested (and I don't even play Ritterlich... yet). Enjoy. http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=30759 Cool conversion

Broode
I was wondering, is there a listing of ranks anywhere for the RAF? Also, a listing of Ritterlich units. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Chrome
The only canon stuff is what's listed in the original rulebook.

Watchman
To date I have found no one for this faction claiming any specific unit(s).
Homunculus23
Greeting! I just got into the game due to the new Kickstater and am looking at the Ritterlich as the faction to play. I was thinking for putting together a unit for this group. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Mastergunz
Thanks to the new KS2 I will finally have the needed units for a comprehensive Ritter force! The RItter get what is arguably the most tactical Doctrine with ability to control the initiative draw so with a highly mobile army you could essentially control the flow of battle with a minimal effort. Any thoughts on this? -Gunz
Vytau
Thanks to the new KS2 I will finally have the needed units for a comprehensive Ritter force! The RItter get what is arguably the most tactical Doctrine with ability to control the initiative draw so with a highly mobile army you could essentially control the flow of battle with a minimal effort. Any thoughts on this? -Gunz My experience with CAV: SO indicates that manipulating the draw deck is *massive*, so I agree - I think it's an enormous advantage. I'm pleased to say I already have a pretty formidable Ritterlich force which I'd describe as recon + artillery with very little in between. I'm just finally getting around to painting some of them tonight! With that being said, the models I have available coupled with the force org rules make building a viable army tricky for me. If the Cougar were role = attack instead of recon, I'd have it made, but as it stands I'm trying to make it work with two cataphracts, three rhinos, and a ton of Tiamats, Silverbacks, Pumas, Panthers, and Cougars.
Savage Coyote
With the new kickstarter I'm going to build a Ritter force for sure. I'm digging the grey's and blues, though now my Templars might be mistaken for Ritter :D
Chrome
There are 5 things required for every old school Ritt army. A Rhino, a Mastodon, and tanks, tanks, and more tanks!
