Guest Mark Theurer
Hi all, I've been working on these for our next D&D session (no worries of giving away what they'll be facing as I don't think any of my players hit these forums)... I need to sculpt the some stone floor tiles out of green putty and finish up the base but overall I'm pretty happy with how the Carrion Crawler turned out. When I started off with this figure, a Gibbering Mouther, I was pretty skeptical that it would turn out ok. I have some more work to do, mainly adding a small black dot to the larger eyes, but am happy with the results. Dang, that was a lot of teeth to pick out! Whenever I thought I was done I found another mouth that needed to be finished. The eyes were much easier to finish (well, not totally done yet) than the teeth. My only "issue" is related to a base. In D&D the creature takes up a 5' x 5' space but the model is significantly larger than that and putting it on a base will make it even larger. I'm leaning towards just leaving it off a base. Thanks for looking, Mark Theurer http://www.fictionalreality.org

Voladilk
Both of those are really cool! I like what you have done with the GM too! Very nice!
Mr.Wizard
I guess I would say, "Delightfully Disgusting"?!?!

I always thought this figure was meant to represent the demon prince Jubilex. It does seem on the excessively big side for a gibbering mouther. But it looks cool whatever it is. Selya
Actually I think it looks suspiciously like a shoggoth... Nice minis anyway, I wish my GM would take the time to get nice miniatures for the random encounters instead of stupid glass beads...
