gwangi32
Call of Cthulhu Modern Setting, GURPS modern/magic and D20 Modern all have enough supplements to make the modern mix with magic work. CHILL is a great game but saddly out of print, it would work well if you can find it. I think there was a Buffy RPG at some point that may work as a supplement as there are definite ties between the concepts. I picked up GURPS: Illuminati University (because I love Phil Foglio's Art) and it could be something to aid in RPG translation of Dresden, X-Files, Anita Blake or any other modern cross pollination project. eastman
There was a company working on a new edition of Chill, but I haven't heard any progress in a long time. The Mayfair edition may be OOP, but it isn't hard to find, and can be found often at a really good price (hardcover rulebook and Chill Companion for $10 total)
Decado
Yesterday I bought a copy of D20 Modern and D20 Modern Urban Arcane. One of my players already has D20 Modern and I thought by keeping to the D20 system it would be an easier crossover for my players and I then switching to a whole new game mechanic. So far I have just skimmed the books but it does look promising. Decado
slidedog
I read all of the books that were out by last year loved them. The series is definately different but recognizable. Wasn't sure after th first couple of episodes but it is starting to come together and get pretty good. I've especially enjoyed the last couple of episodes, I'm sticking with it. If you haven't seen it lately, give it another try, seems the actors are starting to get more comfortable in their roles and it's starrting to click. One guys opinion... Decado
I am still a fan of the show even with the changes. For those of you that have missed the show the Sci-Fi Channel is airing all 5 episodes this wednesday. Decado
Rotez
If you are a fan of the show, and are interested, a petition is out to bring back a season 2 of the Dresden Files. It can be found at: http://www.gopetition.com/online/13670.html They are only at 467 signatures at the time of this post, not a good sign...
