hater dave
http://www.stupid.com/stat/DAND.html maybe they were for a board game or something? I stumbled across them while looking for other weird toys either way they are pretty cheap if anyone is interested
Hexxenhammer
I believe those are from the old Dragonstrike boardgame. And anyone paying $5 for those two sprues is getting ripped off. At Gen Con a couple years ago there was a booth selling those sprues for like $0.50 apiece or something equally ridiculous. I bought quite a few of the skeleton/giant/gargoyle sprues. I actually really like the skeletons.
mooseyjoe
Man o man did I have a lot of fun playing dragon strike. some of the miniatures are a bit fugly, but it sure was a lot of fun. And it came with a video. 10 year old moosey watched that video far too many times.
Hexxenhammer
Heroquest was better, but Dragonstrike was okay. I bought both for my little brother (I am old). I guess my bro and his friends still quote some stupid line from the video. Can't remember which one though.
mooseyjoe
Heroquest was fun too. I have a weakness for overly simplified game-in-a-box dungeon crawls. The only thing I didn't like about dragonstrike was the fact that the warrior and the dwarf were the same kind of character, but the warrior was waaaaaaay better. Why would I ever bother to pick the dwarf? O well, i guess it added variety.
Dragon Snack
First minis I painted, as a matter of fact... I got them from American Science and Surplus (who are sold out fo them, I believe).
Egg of Coot
I believe those are from the old Dragonstrike boardgame. I just checked one of my boxes, and they are indeed Dragonstrike figures. As far as prices go, you can often pick up complete boxes for $5 on eBay . . . The Egg
Frankthedm
Yep, $5 US is a rip.
