Clouse
Here is a M4 Sherman Dozer from the Flames of War series. I got it as a little present for my brother who is graduating from Marine bootcamp this Friday.
Voladilk
Looks pretty good mate. The weathering/mud looks great. I like the dozer blade on it.. very nice touch!
tabascojunkie
Looks good. I've got an FOW Sherman I need to do too. Did you have to do anything different with the resin parts to paint it?
Clouse
No I didn't do anything different with the resin. I just primed it and then painted it.
fieldarchy
I'm not a fan of historicals but I think this looks great. I like the muddy look you gave it. Very nice touch. Have you tried any camo print on tanks just for the fun of it? I think that would look awesome!
Clouse
I have thought of it and I have been wanting to try it. But on this I wanted to keep it to the historical colors, olive drab. On the next one I do though I might try the camo for the heck of it.
Lars Porsenna
Shermans were sometimes camo'd in WWII. The most common scheme was bands of black over the OD. There also has been mention of spots of brown over OD as well, though that may be apocryphal. In other theaters (like Italy), the scheme was broken up with either sand or an earth yellow tone...
