Versutus Vulpes
Hmmm it might be a pink Centaur now. Pink, baby blue and powder purple! V V I'm glad you have a good sense of humor! Likewise... I'm just overly concerned people may take things the wrong way. (In the real world - people sometimes get bent out of shape at things I say until they get to know me... I don't think I've crossed any lines here yet - but I am being cautious just the same.) So - You gonna green stuff a Unicorn horn onto the head of that centaur? fieldarchy
V V, I know what you mean about being careful about what you say. I am usually very friendly and outgoing but once in a while I will say something that someone will take the WRONG way. My student's do that ALOT. I tend to get a little stern when they start wigging out on me and they've complained that I'm "being mean". Also, in writing it's really hard to convey the tone and feeling of the comment the person is making (hence why emoticons are so great). Don't worry about what you say about my minis. As long as you don't just leave a comment like . . . "That sucks!" or "Man those pictures are HORRID!" We'll be ok. Or if you do leave comments like that just back it up with what is soooooooooooo horrid about them. Oooh a horn? Hmmm . . . I do have several cans of apoxy sculpt . . . maybe I should add wings too? I'll make it a Native American Alicentacorn . . . Dan, I love you! You are great! Don't worry I won't destroy your centaur. I won't do anything crazy to him . . . now the other CW minis you gave me . . . I can't make any promises, they might end up being a little funkerriffic. eastman
You can't go wrong if you paint the figures purple & teal. (ok, maybe not for historicals)
fieldarchy
Though I agree with you (hence my last couple of paint jobs) I told Brim that I wouldn't do anything too crazy to his Native American Centaur guy. He's cool, definitely not historical but cool looking and should be done in natural skin tones.
Rocky
I like em- especially the drummer. The blue hair goes good with the skintone. I tried blue hair on a couple of models, ended up scrapping em though. I think some tatts would be good on em too.
fieldarchy
Yeah, I know. I debated putting tattoos but my freehand isn't that good yet. I would like to refine it before I totally and utterly screw up a mini and have to do the paint job on a leg over again. That is why I decided not to. Also, there is something to be said for just good ol plain nekkedness with no tatts. Maybe I'm not so concerned with tatts because I have some in real life . . . the most recent one is a purple and green dragon on me back.
