Sanael
Here's what I painted up for Flynn for the Winter Exchange...as she is a marilith, she became affectionately known as "Mary" as I worked on her. Now that she's arrived, I'll let the rest of you see. Here's a back view, and a link for another, rather more naughty, full view. Let me know what you think...I'm happy with her, but I know there are things I could have done; my skin is fairly thick, so honest opinions are always welcome! Rocky
It looks good best I can tell. The pic is a little small for me but yours looks better than the one I painted. The base you made for her is awesome, I wish mine would come out like that.
Voladilk
I like her! The basework is fantastic and I really love the scales. Only thing that I would improve is maybe make the difference between dark and light in her hair a bit further apart, but it looks good mate! I would be happy to have one painted like this on my display area!
Sanael
Thanks for the responses, guys...Rocky, the basework was actually one of the simplest parts of this piece for me...it's just a bunch of greenstuff, plus some Vallejo water effects and woodland scenics vegetation. The hardest part was figuring out how to shape the ground...I'm not sure you can tell from the picture, but I tried to put a "snake track" from the water up to her current location. Glad you like the terrain, though! I like making those scenic bases for figures I know won't be on my tabletop, since it can really make some of the paint scheme more fun.
