Qwyksilver
AND he can move more than 3" on the GROUND!!!!!! But he still has no bloodlust... [COMIC BOOK GUY VOICE] Ummm I do believe, that would be, Improved Charge/#. As presently constituted, I believe, Warlord does not, presently have, in it's possession, a rule for bloodlust. Thank you. Skipper
In our return to Warlord....I used the Grave horror and he absoltely desimated a unit of Elven Rangers and their Warlord. Now he is a beast. I'm also greatly impressed with Gauntfields new stats. He pretty much swept through the elves other unit will being supported by skeletons and a few wraiths. Warwick
While messing with 1K list ideas for a possible visit to a tournament, I noticed something...interesting. Judas and 11 Crimosn Knights are 1,000 points. It's almost crazy enough to do! Suicide, but damn fun. On my one activation, my enemy gets a boatload of vampires. Ah, well, it's something to think about.
jdripley
I'm not sure it'd be suicide, actually. Judas and the Crimson Knights are blasted fine models, and the Faction Ability they get is quite potent. They've got quality DV, a very good MAV value and good number of attacks with Warmaster. They've even got Deflect to help against a ranged army. It's definitely a one trick pony sort of list, but with a trick that good you stand a chance. I think Warlord is balanced pretty well these days, to the point that a person who takes a list like you said stands as good a chance as anybody else has. You do miss the ability to combine attacks.. i.e. you can't hit a troop with Firestorm, follow that up with two or three archers shooting into the mob, and then finish with a Cavalry charge... But I'm not sure if a combination like that is more or less scary to me than simply getting hit by a mob of vampires... Give it a shot :) Worst that can happen is you lose, right? spiritual_exorcist
Only issues you might have is when you run up against Necropolis and Nefsokar forces and can't use vampiric feeding. 12 models isn't too bad in 1000 points, given that you'd be fielding 12 nasty models. Warwick
Casualty tokens: what do you use? I play a lot of vampires and end up placing red beads. Has anyone had a problem with casualty tokens?
vejlin
We use colored glass beads. The only problem I can think of is b2b contact arguments since the bead isn't the same size as the base. Tombstones or skulls or some such mounted on warlord bases would work well I think.

Now his might sound wierd, but how about dropping a tissue over the model to represent a shroud or ghost like state. I've actually been considering something similar to this for stunned models, but tokens sound about right for totally dead corpses just waiting to be drained of their life giving fluid.
