Warlord mini list builder

The new spreadsheet is awesome. I'm digging the new color scheme and how it filters out unneeded models.

I was just testing the Outrider in the Force upgrade and it looks like none of the Force upgrades are being calculated in the totals (model and army). It looks like the spells aren't working either.

Another complaint - there were new models released yesterday and they are not on this spreadsheet... hahah I make jokes.

It looks like the items and Outrider is being calculated appropriately now. But there's something else I noticed, on the first row under the force upgrades section (line 8) when you select Book of Tactics or Shadowy contacts the extra initiative card or spy is not calculated in the grand total at the bottom.

Also, it looks like you removed the tactician card count and replaced it with a Solo card count. On a personal preference I liked the Tactician card count better...

Another thing - the new models haven't been uploaded...I still make jokes

Init card count includes the number of Tacticians. The Solo count is listed to be compared to the Troop count, which is at the bottom of the column. Now that the new models are posted to ReaperGames.com, I will. get them included over the weekend.

Selecting Necropolis as a faction doesn't populate any models. The Necropolis - Crypt Legion does.

Those nasty Vamps  Thanks for catching that. I fixed it.

This worksheet has become pretty complex. If anyone sees other issues please reply or IM.

dewen, you have something against Necropolis?

The Rank won't populate. It gives a #REF error. And since that won't populate the Troop column also gives an error.

The interesting thing is that leaving the model in place but changing the faction will populate the fields.

In case I haven't said it before, thanks for making this. And no, that wasn't sarcasm. It's pretty darn cool.

Definitely looking good and very helpful. Thanks!

Is Divine Favor missing from the upgrades, or am I just not seeing it?

Ron

I thought Divine Favor was discontinued with the latest release. If I am wrong on this, someone help me out.

No hatred for the Vamps in the spreadsheet, just on the battlefield  I fixed the problem. It was a stupid typo. I built a Necro list in the example to work it out. I should have looked a little closer before posting. Sorry about that.

I forgot to post feedback on this spreadsheet... it's great! Thank you for taking the time on this. I really hope more people download it because it truly is a helpful tool.

I understand that not everyone has Excel, so I thought I would throw this link out here: http://www.openoffice.org/index.html

Open Office is a FREE open-source set of programs that equals to Microsoft Office in a lot of ways. There is a free spreadsheet program in it that will work just as well as Excel. So, if being Excel-less is the only reason you have not tried this tool...well... now you have no excuse. :)

Oops, yes, I believe that you are correct given that it isn't in the RC 2007 document. Thank you for pointing that out, and sorry for reporting a bug that isn't there!

Rastl, you have some Necropolis minis now? Just a few I hear? :;):

Ron

PS: It occurred to me on the drive home that we may have missed a couple of duplicates: not sure if we got both Sir Azarphan and Naomi. Sorry if we did!

This actually does not work out of the box for openoffice. The data range definition are not appropriate for OpenOffice. I haven't figured out a way to fix this as of yet. The INDIRECT(SelectFactionRangeName) does not seem to work, however if you change it to the specific faction you will be using then it works. This is also the case for the spell list, but for some inexplicable reason, upgrades work fine.

Edit: sorry I did not realize the upgrades cells do not use the INDIRECT function to get their values. That explains why they function properly.

Final Edit: This actually will not work in OpenOffice because of the way the INDIRECT function works. In dewen's spreadsheet he uses INDIRECT to reference a named range, which isn't applicable to openoffice.
