Rastl
The Totem of Battle seems to use the 'points used' instead of the total points for the game. This gives some funky point amounts when you select it.
dewen
The Totem of Battle seems to use the 'points used' instead of the total points for the game. This gives some funky point amounts when you select it. Totem is 10% of Force in the latest rules. I will assume that is the same as the original book that said "10% of Game Points Value" and fix it. It was calculating off the points you had in your army, which can get tricky when adding a totem. I added all the new models, updated spell values, Holy Symbol, and filtering for the new sublists (Darkspawn, Elves, Reptus, Mercs). For me the biggest part of this are New Models Models available to Factions and sublists are filtered by selection Non-Unique/Grunt determination by Faction and Sublist is determined for you There is a lot of data in this spreadsheet. If you see something that needs fixed, please let me know. I am considering filtering Upgrades by selecting the type first. What do you think? Currently all the upgrades are in one big drop down. I was thinking about 2 drop down lists. The first one would be the type (Melee Weapon) and the second would be all the upgrades of that type (The Avenger, Magical Weapon, ...). I am not sure if the two lists would be better.

dewen
Thank you for continuing to develop and refine the list builder. Ron You're welcome. I love this spreadsheet. I hate fumbling for the pdf to determine if a model I chose is in the sublist or not or if it changes to Grunt/Non-Unique. How much is that spell. It makes building lists quick. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please send or post it. I hope you grabbed it after I fixed the Totem of Battle calculation. I thought the wording in the new rules changed it, but I believe it is the same.
dewen
Fixed the following Dareth (Elf) and Abjorn Hofkeg (Dwarf) were missing stats because I had abbreviate "Sgt" and was not consistent Missing SA Spy (Ilmarin and Durin Pathfinder)

Evilbob
What does a red 1 under troop use mean? oh, and if i try to add magic armor and weapons to grunts, it only adds it into the total once. do i need to add multiple upgrades or should 1 added to that number work? Mclimbin
This is an awesome tool. I think I just saved about 60 minutes putting together two 500 point demo armies. Thanks for making this available to everyone!
dewen
What does a red 1 under troop use mean? oh, and if i try to add magic armor and weapons to grunts, it only adds it into the total once. do i need to add multiple upgrades or should 1 added to that number work? The red indicates something is incorrect. If the Troop Use is a red 1, the leader has not met his minimum. If a leader has Troop 3-5/0 and no one in his troop, the Troop Use 1 will be red. If you added 6 warriors, the troop use would be a red 7 because you exceeded his capacity of 5. Mob is not accounted for. If you want to assign an upgrade to a model, the model must be listed individually. If you had 4 warriors in a troop and you wanted one of them to be a musician, you would add 3 warriors on a line and then 1 warrior on a separate line. The warrior on the line by himself could be assigned a musician. I would have to see what happens if you had 4 models on one line and wanted to assign an upgrade to each by adding 4 upgrades of the same type assigned to the same #. It sounds like it would work. dewen
Just had a similar problem, figured it out though. Nice way of building a list! saves me from buying Armybuilder and hoping people update it. Thanks! Now to finish my Overlord list for tomorrow and this weekend, Saturday tourney at Reaper! Free is always good. I had been working with Excel to build my lists for some time. I just took it to another level, added all the factions, and shared it. If you have ideas for improvement, let me know. Ideas I am considering - Filtering available spells and upgrades by Faction. This is just monkey work and will take a while. - Filter Upgrades similiar to spells, but by selecting the type of upgrade first.
Darkknight107
While using the list builder for darkspawn i noticed mob was not included for the gnomes. It is great otherwise though. thanks for your hard work on the list builder
dewen
I added this to the original post and wanted to duplicate it here if people are revisisting. There is a lot of information in this spreadsheet and some abbreviations may need explanation. The white areas are the fields that you should be entering info. The colored areas have calculations and lookups. Faction – Select first. Includes the sublists which are prefixed by the main faction. # – Identifies the model in the troop. Used to associate Upgrades and Spells to a model by enter this number from the troops section in the Upgrades and Spells Tr – A number to identify which Troop the model is in Model Nume – If you don’t know what this is, maybe you shouldn’t be using the sheet :P Qty – Quantity or number of model or Spells is a caster selects more than one Bolt for example. Model Num – Reaper’s Model Number Faction – hmmmm…you better know this one too Al – Model’s alignment (G = Good, E = Evil, N = Neutral) Rank – Model’s Rank. (U) Indicates if the model is unique. The Rank should change when selecting a faction or sublist for those Models that change to Non-Unique/Grunt Troop – Leader models Troop stats Troop Use – For Leader models the first column is the total number of models assigned to the leader including the leader. This is derived from the Tr assignment. The second column is the number of elites assigned. If either of these do not meet the Leader’s limits, they will be displayed in red. Pts – Model’s point value Up Pts – Total Upgrade points assigned to the model. This is derived from the models # column as it correlates to the Troop # and the Upgarde # Pts – If the model is a caster, the type is displayed here with its grade and spell limit Sp Pts – Total number of Spell points assigned to the model. This is derived from the models # column as it correlates to the Troop # and the Spell # Sp Gr – Total number of Spell Grade used for the model. Example: If a model has two Cure 2 spells assigned, the Sp Gr would be 4 = 2 x Grade 2 spells Ttl Pts – Total number of points for the row in the troop.
