kristof65
I'd wait 5-6 extra months for one of your pieces in an exchange, flynn.
Shakandara
Yeah, you say 5 months like it is a long time... Nah, seriously, sorry to hear you are putting down the brushes. Hope you feel like getting back to it again soon. `V
Lorisaurus
Yeah, Flynn! You actually gave me the courage to participate in events like this! Don't stop painting for too long, okay?
pae
Oh, I never really stop painting for too long. Depends on how distracted by World of Warcraft I get. Besides, I have two Reaper figures in the queue, and then I think 3 private exchange figures after that. Maybe I'll get something painted for myself...in oh, 2010. I generally interchange painting minis/gaming with entering writing contests and sometimes I'll shoot photographs in the fall. I think it helps all three hobbies to change them up, that way I never get tired of them. Although I admit writing seems natural and painting minis and photography come at more of a price. Almathea Toes
I like to collect things, and one of them is hobbies. I'm up to ten or twelve now. I tend to run six month shifts of any 2 or 3 of them simultaneously then take a break. Come to think of it I haven't knitted in a couple of years, and that half finished afghan would make a great christmas gift for my boyfriend's parents. haldir
I'm in, if you guys accepted slow as molasses painters thanks RM
Star Drifter
The way I see this is that I had better hurry. Too much slacking and I'll have either a very pregnant wife or a newborn to deal with! Thankfully UPS tends to deliver our Reaper orders before the tracking number can get here via email. Couple that with it being payday the same day that sign-up ends, and I'll have the cash to place an order. I'll be working fast.
Ayin
I'm in on this one too! I don't have much, but I will try to take some pics of some of my minis to post. It just might take a bit, though... And thank you, Erin, for organizing these!! *edit* I did think of one question when writing my pm: What about conversions for the exchange? Are they allowed? Wanted or not? I wasn't thinking of any big jobs, just small ones (change weapons, add hair to a bald mini, etc.) Just a thought.
garm
Conversions are allowed and encouraged by some people. Froggy did a custom gunship for my wife from a Dictator CAV mini. As long as the figure is still reconizable as what it started life as for Warlord it should be fine. Most leaders can be doubled or tripled in that game so a different weapon ccan be most helpful to tell which is which.
