dargrin
Had I known you where a owner of a store I would have. (Freakin lack of knowledge) *cough*I coulda helped*cough* All you would have had to do was mention the need on Paint Day (before and I could've brought it with me). I sleep very well at night knowing that I'm the only one who calls my shop 'freaking store'

Heh. I thought about doing a bigger one than I am, but, being my first exchange (and with my work schedule) I didn't want to get overly ambitious. I'm happy with my mini anyway. We're having wonderful conversations on what colors I should use now that he's drawn blood. Freakin (insert class here).... At least his pants are mostly done. Waiting for the finishing highlights until I get more of his colors on.

Of course everyone talking about how they're cleaning, priming, or already painting their exchange mini leaves me feeling more than a little inadequate. Didn't mean to make anyone feel inadequate, which by-the-way, no one is at all. His name is Uru, it's short for Stan or something...

dargrin
Ugh! Finally got my fig. I waiting for the primer to dry now. I thought it was going to be bigger but I will see if I can still modify it the way I would like.
Outkast Samurai
My order came in and I'm gluing it all together now.......or maybe do a little converting....hmmm
Kengar
I try to use these exchanges to push myself into trying something new. I decided to do a "micro-diorama." As it is, I've finished the conversion and gluing/priming, and that turned out OK. Now that I've started slapping paint, I'm worried my mediocre skills will fall short of making the piece work. dargrin
Rrrrr! Totally painted the wrong color on the wrong side. There goes two days of work down the tubes........RRRRRRR..
haldir
got mine (the victim mini) of my exchange, just gotta find the time to prime & prep & such (maybe today hopefully), though all is not lost I was able to come up with a paint scheme & theme for the mini, so at least something good came out of it RM
Helltown
I've started on the base coats for my exchange mini but it's just sitting there today.. I'm hoping I'll get a brainwave soon as to where to go next while playing with another elfie.

kristof65
Finally got mine, and made my first conversion cuts. I have quite abit of clean up to do, a little sculpting, then I can get to priming and painting, which should go quickly with the scheme I have in mind. PurityThruFire
I'm already on my third try. I had to pick the one with the insane texture on his skin. Giving me mucho problems but hopefully I will have learned from the experience... to never paint a troll again
