Lupine fan art.

Recommended Posts

These are some pics I had to take with my camera due to the fact my scanner is all jacked up. I would really like to see more figures made for Lupines! I'm also working on an archer/ranger kinda Lupine.

This is like a Special model a larger Lupine with a big war hammer.

This is kinda like what I was talking about on another thread about a half starved Lupine that gets special rules when it's within a certain inch distance from a killed model.

The finals with color will be posted later as I find out what the holy heck is wrong with my scanner. I'll have the Archer/ranger Lupine and maybe some others done by then as well. I'm just trying to put my feelers out there and see if people are as interested in seeing new models for the Lupine as I am. Thank you.

These are awesome.

I love that second one. It's not what I would expect out of a lupine at all, but you make it fit right in. And that Stalker prowling look, although a very feline pose, is completely awesome.

Keep this stuff coming!

Can I put in a few requests for things I'd like to see?

Sure you can, I have a usually busy job, but when it's not busy I draw a little bit. These are just ball point pen stuff, I do at work. Lemme know.

Here are two things I'd like to see on some paper, Dedros. If you don't have the time that's cool, just throwing these out there. And of course add your own flavor and feel to my ideas.

Lupine Hunter:

When the lupines bring a ranged weapon to the battle field, it should be something only a lupine can use. I'd like to see huge crossbows that rest on their should and need a lupine sized arm to crank back before firing. I thinking of a portable ballista pretty much, something that would have Critical Shot, and Blow Threw and about a range of 18 or 24". A pack of extra man sized bolts attached to their back of course.

These guys would be very lightly armored and would have the muscles size of about the lupine rager.

Lupine Slayer:

Think of the Slayers as the end all be all of Lupine Infantry, Trained to fight, hunt, track, and kill from birth. Missions that many mercenaries groups think impossible, the Slayers complete alone.

Decently armored, a breastplate similar to the lupine lord would be fine. They would use Elongated great swords, taller, broader, and heavier than any normal human could ever hope to lift. Elaborate cloth would drape down their legs and cover their faces. Leaving them with a strong mysterious aura.

They would be muscle bound beasts, standing several feat taller than a normal lupine. Perhaps even taller than the Lupine Lord, since they are breed for melee.

These guys would pack a few abilities such as First Strike(yeah the swords are that big), Critical Strike/3 (yeah... that big), and the normal beast, 360, and improved charge that the other Lupines have.

Alright, and after you get that art finished up, we can get these things over to Gus and have him wrap up our Lupine Army! :D

You'll be posting the final pics on Reapergames, right?

That would be sweet if anyone took my ideas for some new models to heart. I would love to help give a werewolf army a shot in the arm.

Sure thing man, this is a free for all, I just really want some new minis for this possibly GREAT army!

Ha! I already have the *Hunter* concept piece nearly complete. The Melee guys sound great. I don't know so much as the shrouded faces though, kinda reminds me of an executioner. Maybe a special Lupine Helm. I was actually toying with the idea of a Lupine knight of sorts. A big tank in plate, with a little tail hole of course. HAHAHAHAHA! His only weak point.

Here is yet another crappy snap shot. This is of my Lupine Ranger/archer/ranged attack guy. Again I will get my scanner back online and you can have these in nice clean formats and actually see the full version of this one. I had to cut off a bit of the bow. I would like some more feedback on what you guys would like to see. I can then whip up some more concept art and maybe that would get some blood pumping around here to try and push some more Lupine figures!

These pictures are absolutely amazing! If/when Reaper decides to expand the Lupines, I hope these pictures are taken into consideration. My one critque would be that the bow the ranger is holding could be more of a composite bow to show what strength is really need to pull it back. But that's my 2 cents!

Keep up the awesome drawings.

Thank you very much! With the bow I was looking at making it look as raw as possible. I was trying to convey that these guys are still werewolves and not bow makers. Just like a hunk of a tree with metal tips so they don't wear out. I should next week have another put up!!!!
