The Citadel opens at 11am (spoken eleven hundred for any military types).

I'm probabally just being paranoid about the table but hey more space is always good. Pat has plenty of tables downstairs.

Magic decks- you know, i kicked the Magic habit almost 10 years ago... but every once and a while I get the urge to take it up again... must...be....strong.

Warlord demos- i would love to try a game if we have time. I've bought the first printing of the rules, a couple of starting boxes and a grunch of individual figures but have yet to actually play the game. I really need to get a regular gaming group.

 One of the mini's I'm dragging along for basing advice is a possible Rcon entry, no pictures of that...

That's gonna cost you a dollar... :upside:

Seriously, just point out which one is to remain off-camera. I'm bringing one or two myself that I intend to enter at a convention in November. I'd also prefer that it (them) remain off-camera. I already got my dollar handy.

You won't have to pay me to buy my silence about your entries. That could constitute as blackmail and would probobally violate the terms of my parole. <_<

@dargrin- I've got a Micron around somewhere, I'll have to see if I can dig it up for tomorrow.

Well, I tried to hold out as long as possible to se how I felt but due to my health I'm stuck home today.

Take lots of pictures folks!

Hope everyone has a good time.

hope you feel better and yes you were missed. Whiz took pictures and it was really nice to meet everyone, and i had a really good time, its neat to meet other board members, matching names with faces ::D: Its a really good feeling to sit, chat and paint with others that share the same interest :lol:

Sorry you couldn't make it PTF. You were missed. We had a really good showing. Looking forward to seeing you at the next one.

dargrin- You left one of your painting cases behind after the group photo. Darrin has it, as he lives closest to you.

I'll leave it to the others to put up the pictures and notable quotes (since I didn't write them down).

How long till the next one? ::D:

I can't beleve I did that...

Thanks for picking that up guys. I will be in touch with Darin when I can pick it back up. Which should be soon because I need to get my contest entry on track.

I had a good time. Totally enjoyed painting with you guys. Nice to put face to names as well.

As for the next one, I'll take the lead for this one. I will try and get in touch with the owner of the The Whiz in Westborough, MA. The store is pretty big and has enough well lit tables in the back of the store for everyone. If I was to throw out a date, how is January for everyone? Too long between meetings or not long enough? I hope everyone that couldn't make this one can make the next! ^_^

 I'm really upset I had to miss it but as some of you may know I have some health issues I'm dealing with that really screw up my plans.

Glad to hear everyone had a good time though.

Hlavaz, if you got lots of pics I'd love to get them, fire me a PM and perhaps I can get them via email, let me know.

Dargrin, The Whiz is a really great store. I was there not too long ago for a small Warmachine tourney, had a lot of fun. I like the store a lot and wish it was a little bit closer ::P:

*sniffle*

You better make it to the one in Massachusetts! Whiz, Dargrin and I were all hoping for some base-fu lessons! The most frequently heard comments were "Where's Purity?", "Hope Purity's okay!", and my rather plaintive: "Where's Clint?"

It was a lot of fun and I think I shocked a few folks with my erm... spending habits. I got a couple of Limited Edition dragons, one of which one of my minions will probably squish me for (if he finds out I've got it)... Reaper's Dragons Don't Share ::D: Got a Ral Partha Golden Dragon of Chaos too... veritable gold mine of discontinued and limited edition products, The Citadel is... We'll have to go there again next year.

As for notable quotes, Mad Jack and Whiz were quite quotable when Dilvish, Mad Jack, Whiz, and I went out to supper afterwards (we tried to talk Pat into coming with us but he had a family thing with his in-laws):

"I don't drink, the world's a safer place that I'm sober" -- Mad Jack, savoring his nice frosty mug of milk.

A lot of the quotes revolve around Mad Jack's quest to paint a Powder Monkey's eyes:

"F*#% it! The monkey's getting an eyepatch" -- Mad Jack

"What you do with your monkey on your own time is your business." -- Whiz to Mad Jack

I'm sure there are more and the Monty Python quotes started flying while Vil-Hartan and I were playing a couple games of Magic thus making it an official gathering of geeks. (For the record gentlemen, I did win the second game quite handily... Goblins almost always steamroll elves ::P:)

As for the next event, January is tenative and the location uncertain. Whiz and I will be watching the weather through the holidays to make sure that it's a safe drive for all the New England folks. Otherwise, we'll be headed to Massachusetts and The Whiz in the spring in what I hope will be April sometime, that'll allow ReaperCon attendees (me and possibly Dilvish) the chance to get some feedback on those entries and all the Wanna-Be-At-ReaperCon folks to get some additional help/feedback on their entries. Regardless the next event will be in Massachusetts due to it being rather central for most everyone and within my 'crazy day trip' driving range. Just remember, I get to pull a reversal on you fine folks this summer... you guys gotta drive up here!
