Whizard Hlavaz
Ah, bummer. I can't attend. I'm teaching painting in Keene every Saturday for the month of July. I have a dozen students and just can't blow them off. You guys have fun. But let's see what more we can do for the fall.
Helltown
PM sent! I do agree that we should look for having another one in the fall. Let's consider the get together with the Family Storm to be the warm-up and a bit of a plotting meeting as well.
PurityThruFire
It's a bit of a drive for me for one afternoon of painting. Much as I'd love to I don't think I can justify a 3+ hour drive for an afternoon of painting. And I REALLY, REALLY want to get together with everyone too! Looks like I might still be stuck out here until we can come up with something for the fall.
Helltown
... the 21st of July... I have just realized the one thing that made me mark my store's calendar as 'WILL NOT BE HERE' when I opened my wallet and noticed my bright yellow coupon. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows!!!! That's the day I have to go pick up my copy at Bookland! How do I decide twixt the two!? Painting or Harry Potter? The answer? Of course I'm going to paint! I'll have the book for when I get home afterwards.
Whizard Hlavaz
Cher--How long will you folks be painting for that Saturday? My class runs until 6:00pm. If you're going into the later evening, I could shoot over to at least meet everyone. Maybe even cut class early. I'll give homework! ladystorm
Reminder we're looking at this Saturday, July 21st. PM for address. If you have the address and haven't told anyone (me) you are coming, would you mind dropping a PM to share that info. It would be nice to have a rough head count. Whiz, I honestly don't know how long we'll paint, best to give a call and check in before driving over to see how things are going.
Whizard Hlavaz
Hooray! This got a bump. I'll do that, Cher. Thanks! It would be nice to see you again and meet some of our other Reaper peeps, even if everyone is packing up as I arrive. And let's keep that fall meeting open, too! What say, everyone? -Darin. Helltown
I'm still planning on driving down. I'll be bringing me, my painting tackle, a big bag of jelly beans (no every flavor beans, I promise), and a couple six-packs of Mt. Dew. If anyone would like, I can also cart down some of Maine's famous export... lobsters. A full half of my regular Friday Magic players are lobstermen (skippers or sternmen) so I can snag pier prices easy (if not free). Let me know if you're interested and how many you'd like, the price fluxes daily even on the pier so.. bear that in mind.
PurityThruFire
Much as I'd love to I don't think the trip would be possible for me. I've got to hold out for a time when we can all paint and game for a good two days straight Hope everyone has a good time!
Qwyksilver
Pray for rain. If it rains, the cookout is cancelled and I can come paint. I might swing over if all my food prep is finished early and I can pop in to say hi and meet some of the slightly less local folks before I head out. I wish my confirmation wasn't soft or I'd place an order. Some other time, perhaps. Anyhow...I hope you folks paint late, so I can meet everyone! I'm not a huge fan, now shrimp... that's a whole 'nother story. The guys are mostly hauling lobster this time of year, so it's harder to get shrimp
