Enchantra
Yup party at my place. Jason Weibe said the same thing a while ago too. So it must be true! I'll make the Chocolate cake...

Enchantra
mmm chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting is da bomb! Mmm nope, not this one. Moist chocolate cake with chocloate frosting and crushed candy bars on top. Add to that there's a whole jar of Mrs. Richardson's hot fudge in the cake batter leaving it very moist and delicious. It's pancreatic shock on a platter. Those at R-con 06 who had some know what I'm talking about.

Spike
I was at RCon 06 and tried some of Enchantra's cake. Though there ARE things that are better than that cake was, I shall not discuss such things... as I am a lady. ;) I'll be there with my GORP as always. I'm still working on how to make cupcakes that can withstand the Texas heat. (Vulcanization is not an option. :) ) May is a tricky month though. On the one hand, there's GenCon, which occurs in June. I suspect Reaper takes that into consideration as they'd not want to have their own Con too close to another. Then of course there's end-of-term for students at one end of the month, and Mothers' Day at the beginning, and so there's not alot of other choices opened..but after 4 years, May seems to have become a tradition. You'd do best to keep the middle weekends in May unbooked. As for WHERE.. well.. it's right there at the factory as always (unless of course we all end up crashing Fieldarchy's place). As for HOW AWESOME, every year has exceded the prior year in awesomenessity, so I expect this comin g to be Awseome beyond awesometivity. Being the FIFTH annual RCon you might say it is a landmark event. Oy... How many four-year-veterans are there (besides the obvious folks who work for Reaper)? I know Steve, Unglef and I have been to all four. Anybody else?
Helltown
This will be my first ReaperCon and heh.. first trip to Texas that wasn't for work.. I've been to the Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth... not many other places but, I can say that I've been to Texas. 3 Cheers for Jack in the Box and deep fried tacos!!! (Now someone will please ensure that I have some real Tex-Mex food while down there... please?)

Though there ARE things that are better than that cake was, I shall not discuss such things... as I am a lady. ;) *LOL* If that is all that is better than my cake, I guess I'm doing just fine then. Except this time I'm not making cake three nights in a row, I need my beauty sleep for functionality. I think I scared Stubbdog one night as I just sort of stood there for a very long time in the bathroom kind of zoned out as the brain and body were not communicating with each other (He actually asked if I was OK because I hadn't made a single sound for like an hour). I had been up LATE the night before doing the cakes and had just made more..It was like 3AM when I got to bed - only to get up at 6AM. Not doing that again. I believe I would have enjoyed R-con more if I was a bit more awake - I felt horrible because I kept nodding off in Jen Haley's details class, and I'm quite sure I wasn't acting all that normal either both in her class and outside of it. So this time it's two cakes only, one chocolate, one vanilla. If you miss the cake, I'm greatly sorry, but I have to set some limits. fieldarchy
Sounds good Enchantra!!! I don't want you falling down in the middle of speed painting or anything! It is a tiring four days! I would be at Reaper at 8am and not leave until midnight or later. It's a long day . . . and usually towards the end alcohol is involved and I get sleepy. Spike, I'd agree that *ahem* 'it' is better than cake . . . most of the time

Yeah, four days of Reaper Goodness can tire anyone out in a good way. Spike, I'd agree that *ahem* 'it' is better than cake . . . most of the time I'm quite inclined to agree on that! Spike
But we all know..if a girl is not careful and has either too often, a girl's tummy might start growing. Unfortunately, there isn't really such a thing as "safe sweets:.

haldir
I "dropped" off Reaper for a month in 04 & that was the month of RC 1, but I probably wouldn't been able to go anyways ($$$ at the time), but I've been 3 years now & looking forward to 08!!
