Voladilk
Oh wow! I love this one! The skin is great, the colours are really effective and all around very well done Meg. If VV does not like it, I will take it :)
Mastertickles
Looks great! Great job on the details!!! The skin and outfit look tops and the base totally brings the mini together!
vhaidra
Wow, great freehands!!! It is intresting to see that one use metallic paints for the clothes, that's an quite good inspiration for me, looks really great. Face also turned out very nice and I love the base. fieldarchy
Thanks guys! Using metallics for the dress was more difficult to do convincingly than if it were armor. Still, I figured it would be a good challenge and it's such a great purple I hope VV likes it!
Versutus Vulpes
Well - I do like it so you're beat Voladilk . Once I have the mini in hand I'll post a more detailed review - but I likes what I see. Thanks Meg!
fieldarchy
YAY! I'm glad you like her. I think she turned out very purdy.

Ayin
no on else has any thing to say? I know she's not perfect! C'mon let me know what I need to work on Ok, if I *have* to pick out something, I would say the tones between her boot and the rock need some contrast. They seem to be the same shade of brown, with no clear definition. Maybe another color/shade for the fold-over of the top of the boot? Overall, I really like her and I'm both impressed and inspired by the purple sparkly dress... But I don't think it would look good on the male barbarian I'm working on. It would clash with his skin too much... Great job on the freehand, too! I have to do some of that on my guy & I'm hoping it comes out nice! fieldarchy
I'm glad you like the sparkly dress. I thought a nice sparkly purple dress was fitting on this model. :-) It just looks so purdy As for the browns, yes I'm running out of shades of brown . . . since I'm not buying any more paint right now and I haven't gotten "paid" for my work yet (still have several pieces to turn in in this batch). Hopefully I'll have more color choices soon
noctambulist
She looks excellent, much better than my Laurana from LTPK2 :) I'm really impressed with the eyes. Those dang tiny eyes gave me the worst trouble and yours look great! I like the freehand on the scroll as well. I decided my Laurana is calling for someone to write something on hers
Beowulfthehunter
Looks great Meg, Please tell us how you did the purple. Would it be possible to re-photograph, the skin is kinda looking flat and knowing how you paint I know that is not the case. The freehand came out great, if possible, could you have shadowed the scroll abit more as it looks to have no shading. Love your basework, the flowers realy compliment the paintjob and style of mini. Lastly did you reposition the arms, they are looking kinda wonky.

I'll take some pics once she arrives here in the frozen north .
fieldarchy
The arms were positioned that way so no I didn't do anything with them. The purple is sparkling amethyst highlighted up with some pearl white and then gloss coated. Just like highlighting regular metallics The scroll is highlighted, I used the bone triad I think it was . . . did it while I was at paint club so not exactly sure if I remember exactly. VV will take some pictures once she arrives. But she's boxed up and ready to leave at the moment . . .
Cerridwyn1st
The little flowers on the base are really cool. I love her expression. Good job.
