...Tremble, nay, it is but a little thing. If he were larger maybe, but as he is, one can barely see him. We'll just have a troll step on him and then the conquest of elvendom can continue...

(Looks good, what I can see. Please post bigger pictures.)

Um, can I uninvite you from the tourney...

oh wait, I'm not playing so I have nothing to fear, I can't wait to see you crush Reptus/Dwarves/O'lords ect with this bad boy.

I LOVE the wings.

maybe dark lining the belly scales to make them pop more. If you have Scorced Metal it would work great, if not, some dark warm brown and mix it with gold.

8 days or so...and counting

Thanks, Feanor. I love the wings. The color fade is beautiful. I also agree with EB that some brownlining on the belly scales would be nice. If you really want to go nuts, thin Scortched Metal to wash consistency. Use the thinned mixture on the belly scales. Apply a couple of layers, starting with the deepest recesses and working outwards with later layers. It would accentuate the scales and give a bit of depth.

I like the green eyes. It really gives the dragon some character.

And again....Love the wings! I second (third?) the idea of a Scorched Metal wash on the belly scales, and some shading on the horns/claws. Usually, they start darker where they join the body, but I have seen some beautiful effects with the reverse - dark, red-brown tips fading to tan/yellow to white at the base. If you feel up to it, if you do the SM wash, you might want to put a bit on the underside of his brow ridge, right over each eye. It will darken the area slightly, make those green eyes look even brighter, and him more menacing. Take a look at a head shot of a bald eagle (their brow ridges stand out really well) to see what I'm talking about.

Overall, nice job. I'm sure he will incite terror on the battlefield!
