Enchantra
Whoa. When did I miss this figure coming out? This is a great mini. Linked for nudity. http://www.fantization.com/index.asp?PageA...amp;ProdID=9580 I think what grabs me the most about the sculpt is the unusual sight of a woman on the back of something other than a horse and the fact the woman is sculpted with bodily proportions that don't look anorexic or to muscular. Beowulfthehunter
This figure has been out for a while now, check the Hasslefree site. I will say this Kev White sculpts the most realistic looking women around and the company provides great service.
tjb
yes that is a great mini set....kevin white is the sculpter....sally...is his wife....who this mini is based on...http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/...... she just recently gave birth ....so they may not respond quickly to posts/emails if you send any...there are 2 versions of several of their main minis.....resin and white metal version.....and combos of each....the price of their minis may seem expensive once you factor in the differance between british pounds and the US/Canadain dollars !! Enchantra
I've ordered stuff online made by Hasslefree before. It was just this one mini I hadn't seen yet. I remember a discussion a long while back over on Jenova's forums about Kev using his wife as a model for his sculptings - I think it works well, as his females seem a bit more realistic than what others are creating. Sergei
If you like it, grab it now. That's a limited edition and already sold out at the Hasslefree site. Only a few wandering around out there and they won't last.
Artists Wren Posted September 4, 2007 Artists Share Posted September 4, 2007 I think just the full resin set was limited edition, the metal Libby with resin tiger is an unlimited availability version. (And you can buy the pieces separately from the Hasslefree site if for some reason you need three tigers or something.)
Cerridwyn1st
Looks like she's pregnant to me. It is nice to see a sculpt with more realistic proportions.
joshuaslater
Kev White is a demi-god amongst sculptors, period. He's been sculpting a LOOONG time. The Celtos line--his. Much of the best sculpts for Chronopia, his. Hasslefree is his own line, with his wife handling the business side of it. His models are more expensive, but worth every penny for the quality of his sculpts and the castings, and customer service is best in the biz, at least overseas. Krztoff
It looks to me like she's wearing a top.
Rastl
Mr. Rastl likes a more full-figured woman (woot!) so I had to pick one up to paint for him. I like the pose on her. And I was able to grab 2 of the 3-pack vale archers my FLGS can't seem to get for me. On clearance/sale!
Bodhi
Got me a limited edition resin cast of this one. I ordered as soon as I saw the green. A bit more breakable but shows of details much better then the metal cast. it IS a lovely sculpture. And Kev White is my PRIMARY inspiration in my own attempts at sculpting. I measure everything I do against his sculptures (so far unfavourably )

He also did quite a few of the Privateer Press sculpts too (mostly women and trolls although Jerzy Montwill and Werner Klocke did some of the women as well). rgtriplec
I like the Libby character a lot. There are several sculps of her. I don't usually buy nude minis... they just have never appealed to me. But Hasslefree has my single favorite. If you follow the link at the top of the thread it is the only 54mm mini by Hasslefree. They also have one of my favorite fat guys, mainly because he resemble someone I know .
