Cerridwyn1st
I've been wondering if Reaper could make dropper tips for the RMS bottles available. Put them in packs of ten, for example. Sometimes a dropper gets clogged or broken and it would be SO much easer to replace it than try to clean it out.
Reaper User ReaperClark Posted September 8, 2007 Reaper User Share Posted September 8, 2007 I've been wondering if Reaper could make dropper tips for the RMS bottles available. Put them in packs of ten, for example. Sometimes a dropper gets clogged or broken and it would be SO much easer to replace it than try to clean it out. Well, we did the replacement flat caps for those who don't like dropper tips by request, so I can see about a blister of dropper tips too. Yours is the first request for this. I'll let you know soon. Cerridwyn1st
Thanks, Matt. It doesn't have to be a blister. A little plastic baggie in my next order would do fine, as long as there is a code somewhere to order them.
Artists Wren Posted September 8, 2007 Artists Share Posted September 8, 2007 I had one fail pretty spectacularly, black paint all over me. But I admit I'm not sure I'd pick up a bag of these to fix one bottle. I happened to have an extra bottle of black so that particular failure didn't slow me down too much. It seems some people do have a problem with not quite right ones and might welcome the opportunity for replacements though.
haldir
A hobby oil pick or hobby awl is your best friend for un-clogging stuck tips. Got one from model expo.com for like 2 bucks or so. Perfect size for the opening. Even went as far as to poke practically every bottle I have (the entire set), with the exception of the inks & liners & of course the additives, as those 3 come out pretty good as is. Jubilee
Sometimes I want to chuck out the nozzles that constantly get clogged (no matter how often I jab them with sharp pokey things) so I took would appreciate replacement nozzles! /ali
dougrob173
Just wanted to say that I would also find replacement tips very useful and would love if they were available for purchase.
Spike
Dripper tips would be a good idea indeed. I've been using a bit of the thinner piano wire to unstop mine. It's small enough, but does not easily bend. The only trouble is that I'm always losing my bit and have to cut a new one..and that stuff's amazingly hard to break. I've actually wanted these for some time now, since i saw the flat caps i just thought that it would be a matter of time before the tips were released as well. so yeah, release these puppies already
