how about some savage hair like a big mohawk with long hair in the back??

a little late but how about one arm being lightly armored? (like say a shoulder pad & some light armor.

of course it looks good as is thou.

I like it so far

Well, let's see, she's bald, she has no thumbs..oh wait, you know that

Ok, serious critique:

-her right arm looks a little out of proportion

wait, that's it. Detail work looks really good.

As for hair - she just screams to me - BIG HAIR. 80s hair band style, maybe with a tiara or something.

I'm thinkin big hair as Kristof mentioned, but who knows, she does need something to balance her rather large posterior, big hair would do just the trick, hehe. Yes, she is curvy, I like making a variety of body types as those who saw may other ladies of the past know. I also see alot of girl figs with tiny rear ends, lets say she is the champion of Sir mix alot, lol

The only shame is that big hair will hide some of the detail you have done on her back.

When I first saw this piece, the body shape reminded me of an ex-roommate from the early 90s - she had big hair, with a perm. '

In looking at this further, I like how the bottom bikini piece is asymetrical from the back - like she's fighting with it crawliing up her butt.

I like her shape, but agree that something needs to be fixed with the arms.

Baldness would emphasize the curves by repeating that shape (skull, bewbs, hips, tummy, calves).

Look at the woman in Frazetta's Swamp Demon. She's just wearing a cord type of headband.

Here's the bald woman of Swamp Demon:

When I googled that title, I discovered that comics based on Frazetta paintings are being released. Must... resist... completist collector... urge...

I'll try to get a side view soon, no torpedoes here though, lol.

Its funny because I used a Frank Franzzeta painting as the inspiration for this, love his style, you bringing that up really makes me happy as it means I was successful in sculpting her figure.

Another good-looking piece, different from other barbarian women.

Three points of anatomy bug me a bit:

1. Her elbows look too fragile. If I flex my elbow at 90 degrees, one muscle really sticks up from my forearm -- I think it's called the brachioradialis. The tendons connecting this muscle to the humerus should make the forearm flare outward toward the elbow joint, not pinch inward to a little hinge. My elbow is almost 5" thick when flexed, and only 3" thick at rest (and I don't have much muscle on my arms to begin with).

2. The position of the feet seems unstable. Since the rear foot is pointed straight forward and both feet are flat on the ground, the rear leg looks knock-kneed and she could be easily pushed over from the side. Pointing the rear foot outward would also point her knee outward and would give her a stronger stance on the ground. Since her upper body is in such a forceful pose, I think her legs should match it.

3. The biceps should be anchored to the torso under the pecs. The flesh around her armpit seems to put the biceps over the pecs, but maybe it's a trick of the light, viewpoint, etc. And, I know, on female figures the musculature generally isn't as defined as it is on a male.

Hope this helps -- it's almost as much for my own benefit (for future sculpts) as for yours... ::P:

OK why don't we have a drooling smiley on these boards?

Dangit I want this mini!

She's gorgeous.

I like how you went for more curves and something resembling a more typical woman. I agree she needs big hair. Actually what about a huge boatload of braids coming off her head, some swirled into a topknot in back of her head?

Thanks enchantra, the braids may just be the way I go.

Also thanks dks, thats whats wrong with the arms, the sad thing is I'm looking at an anatomy book, lol. I think alot of that part of her arms will have hair covering it up but I will keep this in mind on future sculpts. I my just fix them anyway, not like i'm in a hurry or anything. I may revisit the elbows too, thanks for the advise, others like lastman had mentioned the arms looked funky, i see what he meant now that you bring this up.
