I like the way the gold bits outshine the rest of his armour. Really gives the piece that extra touch of blingtivity.

Which blue is that? I like the vividness of it.

Thanks, Spiker!

It's the Ultramarine Blue triad. Best blues in th MSP line, IMO.

MY God, Is that Kelcore, I thought he died in a horrible yet highly amusing brush accident,

Nice work as usual, one day my blends will be that smooth.

It really wasn't that horrible. But it WAS funnier than reported.

Oh yeah, and I'm still alive. ;)

WOW! I want to paint white armor like that! I hope I can paint the Crusaders I picked up (to practice armor on!) somewhere near that!

I am assuming, since the second pic seems darker overall than the first, that the sword is not signifigantly darker on one side than the other?

And I have to agree, while I love the blue you used, it does seem a bit flat compared to everything else.

Beautiful piece!

I wonder how he gets the Reven blood off that armour... must be a beggar to keep clean.

Awesome effect - great execution.

Well, if he were in D&D, permanent Prestidigitation spell. The blood will just get repelled off, like water repellent on a windshield!

Gorgeous!! I am in awe of the NMM. I still need a lot of work in that area. And everyone is right the blues are great, will have to check them out.

He wipes it down with beggers of course!

Not that I've noticed! I dunno, I'll have to take a look at it and check. But I doubt it. Once again: I've moved, which means that once again, I have to dink around with my lighting.

W&N Titanium White FTW!!!!

I was going to ask- it looks fantastic, what did you use for the shade?

Thanks! Misty Grey. With I think a little Cloudy Grey mixed in the darkest parts. Lined with Stormy Grey. I didn't use the Titanium to highlight the whole thing though. Mostly I just built up highlights with Pure White from the Misty base, and then hit the brightest highlights with the Titanium, since nothing I've ever used from any paint line other than W&N is as "WHOA!! GLARINGLY WHITE!!!!!" as the Titanium.

He doesn't get blood on his armor. He knows it makes the grass grow, so he leaves it there.

And wouldja believe that I picture a Half Orc underneath all that armor?
