Kabaka K'wana (aka Zooma) and Lord Rootshaper

Not my minis, but I thought you would like them. They were painted (and the Dwarf was converted) by a player in my D&D game. My camera-fu doesn't do them justice (but they were quick pics at the game table).

Of course, being the Killer DM that I am, they perished last session. Zooma (played by Kabaka) even survived a coup de grace attempt from a Ghoul, before perishing to the second one. Lord Rootshaper got just a little too close to a Colossal Monstrous Scorpion (30' reach, YIKES!).

So, what you're saying is that I shouldn't show you the mini I am painting to represent my charecter in your Rise of the Runelords game?

OT: I really like that your player has a mini for the enlarged version of his animal companion. Is there a "normal" sized version of Zooma as well?

There is a "normal" sized Zooma as well. The normal one was just a plastic Gorilla glued on a square base and a magnet glued on it's back so the Lord Rootshaper mini could "ride" on it.

I know what you mean. I did it to another player a couple of times in a row, every time I would either finish painting (or come close to finishing) the mini I would kill the character.

No wonder I'm procrastinating on finishing up my Wonderland No More character. Maybe I shouldn't post any WIP shots of my Star Wars droid...
