Heyas -

Always wanted to start a thread where we share classic music videos and the like. This one is for classic and retro videos from the 70's and 80's (and 90's too I guess)

I'll kick it off

To start is the classic Buggles - "Video Killed the Radio Star"

Then the 1979 "Pop Music" from M

Next up is some Thomas Dolby with the ever popular "She Blinded me with Science" - Although some of my favorites by him are "One of our Submarines is missing" and "Europa and the Pirate Twins"

Talk Talk - "It's My Life" and "Talk Talk"

Then there is Men at Work - "Down Under"

and Men Without Hats "Safety Dance"

That is it for now - I think the next post will be Dark Wave and early goth and stuff. Lemme know what you think and what you guys like :)

This is my particular favorite. I also believe it is the single most viewed video on Youtube, at approximately 59 MILLION!! views.

The Evolution of Dance

Particularly disturbing is the thought that Ive seen so many of these... either way a staggeringly talented dude, if only for the idea.

Well, this isnt retro but its more my speed. Wish it was clearer though, theres a echo or something in it. Much better on CD.

This girl has an awsome voice but this copy of the song doesnt do her credit at all <_<

Lacuna Coil reminds me of Evanescence in terms of the style (which for me is a good thing since I like Evanescence). I'll probably be checking more of their stuff out.

For an 80s classic (that is virtually unknown on this side of the Atlantic), check out
