Baphomet69
Well, this isnt retro but its more my speed. Wish it was clearer though, theres a echo or something in it. Much better on CD. This girl has an awsome voice but this copy of the song doesnt do her credit at all Hey, thanks for the heads-up! I really like that music, her voice and she's hot! tanker22
Lacuna Coil reminds me of Evanescence in terms of the style (which for me is a good thing since I like Evanescence). I'll probably be checking more of their stuff out. They are but heavier, have a lot of good songs. They are Italian, what gets me is no accent at all. I like Evenescence as well, good music to paint to and chill. Heres another good song of theres off there newer album For an 80s classic (that is virtually unknown on this side of the Atlantic), check out Mysterious Art - "Das Omen" Different sound there eastman, not bad, deffinatly techno german stuff. Ever her of a group called Chiasm? If your into that kind of sound you may like this as well. Chiasm- isolated

Bilesuck
OK, my 80's and early 90's videos that I watch a lot on you tube. One of my Favorite bands, there is just nothing else that has as desperate a sound as these guys did. Not Lady in Red Tennesse Spelled that wrong I think, this one gets stuck in your head. Bangles Concrete Blonde Ziggy done by Bauhaus Siouxsie nuff said Good ol rock and roll Social Distortion Thats enough for now, will add more later
Super Administrators kit Posted October 9, 2007 Super Administrators Share Posted October 9, 2007 The Flock of Seagulls reminded me of this one for some reason. I found myself saying, "A-ha!"
eastman
The Flock of Seagulls reminded me of this one for some reason. I found myself saying, "A-ha!" That's a classic video, but I like the Reel Big Fish version of the song better

Reel Big Fish has done ska or ska/punk covers of a number of bands, always giving it a unique RBF treatment. They especially like adding cover songs into their live shows or for movie soundtracks. SaintRigger
They did a cover of the Cure's "Boys Don't Cry" I think, that I enjoyed. I like covers - maybe I'll make my next post a cover post. I don't know.
eastman
Yep, they did "Boys Don't Cry" by the Cure, as well. Also: "Kiss Me Deadly" - Lita Ford "Gigantic" - The Pixies "Talkin' 'Bout a Revolution" - Tracy Chapman "Story of My Life" - not sure, only heard the original once "Boss DJ" - Sublime "Unity" - Operation Ivy and a whole lot more.
