SaintRigger
I want my cubbies to win one. There is always NEXT year. I know..... PS - if they win next year, it would make it an even 100 years since their last series win. Edited October 23, 2007 by SaintRigger
Spike
Well...I'm from Braves country... Do they really play baseball after mid-september? Anyhoo, I'll root for the Sox. Their uniforms are cooler.
EntilZha
I'd like to ask all the Red Sox fans...What kind of name is Coco Crisp?!?!? Did his parents hate him? Is he part of a complete, nutritious breakfast? Does he have eight essential vitamins and minerals? Does he come with a free prize inside? Can you imagine the kind of taunting he must have endured as a child?
Qwyksilver
So lets summarize the Sawx are in the World Series, Brady and the Pats are doing a rendition of Sherman in Georgia to the NFL, Boston College is #2 in the BCS rankings, the Celtics get Garnett, and the Bruins are even playing better. Is God renting in Boston ATM? Is Babe Ruth drunk in heaven? What's going on here?!?!? Nothing is going on here but sweet sweet success. The management of the other franchises have finally started to realize the Pats have been doing it right since the Krafts took over. You have owners that are businessmen first, but are also fans. Although the Jacobs are still lagging a bit behind. It's sad that the Bruins have become the 4th choice for our rabid sports market. An original 6 team that is an afterthought Although ownership deserved this cellar with their penny pinching and horrible decisions. I still haven't forgiven them for trading Thornton. Coco isn't his real name, it's a nickname his grandmother gave him as a kid. His birth name is Covelli Coco Sox Bio

His birth name is Covelli Coco Sox Bio I think I like Coco better then there is Chipper Jones (real name is Larry, I mean come on Larry??ha ha) Spike: I recall the Braves at one time made it past the first round of the playoffs (yes I'm a Braves fan) RM

kristof65
Well, I obviously gotta go with the Rockies. Though I will admit that I don't particularly want to be in town for a few days if they win the Series. It's a PITA to be in a city when their team wins the championship, be it the Stanley Cup, the World Series or the Super Bowl if you're not a huge sports fan. It's marginally better if it's a team you like though. This kind of sucks for me, though, because next year was the year I was finally going to be able to afford my season tickets to the Rockies - that's likely going to change with the band wagon. It's marginally better if it's a team you like though. Tell me about it. If the Sox, Pats and Celts play up to expectations, all three should be in their respective championships. Which means the chances of Boston becoming an Apocalyptic wasteland quite high, since apparently the new trend is to destroy your hometown if you win
King Tiger
I remember Razor! If I remember correctly he played some ball for the Expos organization, among others.
