Duliniel
Would I be able to trade in some "scrap" minis/bits towards Asylum store credit? I did this at ReaperCon '06 and was wondering if it's only an option during ReaperCon or if it can be done anytime. Thanks!

Reaperbryan
If you are local and come in during a workday, I can probably hook you up, actually. Ask for Bryan. That's what they call me 'round here. ;)

rgtriplec
So do the minis need to be stripped to bare metal befoe the trade? Is only Reaper pewter used or are other companies minis used also? What is the exchange rate? I have stuff to get rid of and am considering coming to Reapercon this coming year.
Versutus Vulpes
Well - if I remember correctly - they do trade in for Reaper only pewter (as they can account for their own ingredients as opposed to not knowing what may be included). And it is ounce for ounce straight up. And I believe they prefer it stripped as well... but it isn't a requirement. Again - just the information I have off the top of my head. Cheers. Gus Landt
So do the minis need to be stripped to bare metal befoe the trade? I can't speak for what policies will be in place for ReaperCon 2008, but in all previous ReaperCon's, these were the rules: Minis did not need to be stripped. They could be fully assembled & fully painted.** We'd take in any companies pewter besides the old lead based stuff and all Confrontation stuff (due to high lead content). (although the first day or two of RC07 there was some confusion, and some of the people working the desk thought only Reaper metal was allowed, so some people came away thinking they could only trade in Reaper metal if they happened to stop by the trade desk at the wrong time.) Exchange rate was an ounce for an ounce. Again, these rules may certainly change for RC08, but that's what they were the past few years. **Reaperbryan edit: Note that paint fumes and Cyanoacrylate (Superglue) fumes may be toxic, and we like our casters to live. Unpainted or stripped and with no glue is much preferred. Edited January 28, 2008 by Reaperbryan

I have a lot of it I'd part with in a heartbeat.
