rgtriplec
I used to b a chef, so I cook a lot. I like doing things with my wife. We don't get a huge amount of time together, so I really enjoy it when we do. She is an anthropology major and recently we combed a half a dozen local cemeteries for a project. It was fun. You really learn a lot. So we've decided our shared hobby will be cemetery study. I love to write fiction. I haven't written much this year because I lost my writing area and we had a baby 2 years ago. So the enviornment isn't condusive to writing. I generally try to enter a couple of the big nation contests every year. I've never won But I have placed in several, and won honorable mentions in about a half dozen, and have been read by Hollywood execs twice. I want to enter the 3 Day Novel Contest next year. I try to read as much as possible. I read everything: novels, scripts, plays, non-fiction, short stories and even graphic novels/comics by selected writers like Allan Moore or Neal Gaimen. matsumoto
a ton, actually. Foremost, i wish to be an Artist/Writer, so i do plenty of both. mostly i'm an Ink w/ Colors of some type illustrator, but i have begun the move to full digital... word up to my fellow artists. I'm very Academic...My absolute favorite topics of study are Aviation (esp. Military) and History (again, military focus), though psychology, current events/pol-sci, and earth-sciences are not far behind. Books. if i buy books, most likely they are reference or gaming....occasional fiction does occur. Full Gamer here! I RPG's, CCG's, Board, Video...i would like to do Alternate Reality gaming, but that would be a stretch to me I've done Amtgard/Dagohir/ Limited LARP/SCA...even been to one civil war re-enactment as an assistant behind the scenes... I've a ton of music and i love it...I've posted on the lines of taste before though, so in short i'll say Electronic and Orchestral Musics top my list...including world-culture music. Asian Samurai and Kung fu movies. who would have guessed? War and Historical epic Movies. I Hike. a lot. This city i live in is surrounded by a low mnt. range, and i've climbed/hiked every large peak in the vicinity. (small fry i don't play collector with) I scenic walk, so i can think n' generate ideas 'normal' social activities fill my slots as well. i date accepting women, go to movies with a posse, occasionally hit clubs or bars (not really my thing, but it's social) oh, and i 'fight' as well...technically. any game that increases my sim conflict experience is a good thing.....heck, i go paintballing with my brother tomorrow... Helltown
On those rare occasions that I do have some time available for 'fun' and I'm not painting, wrangling the Evil Ones, knitting chainmaille, or catching up on paperwork I can be found sound asleep on the couch or in a similar state in bed.. mooseyjoe
I spend too much time on video games. I am currently working on 4 different zeldas between sessions of smash bros, Halo, and sudden strike 2 (old but still awesome). I've been working on getting a 360 fixed back up so that I can stop bumming Halo time off my friend's consoles. I beat somewhere around 20 games last school year. It's baaad. Thank Goodness I never got into WoW, I'd still be under. During the summer I seem to read alot more, but when I have all this work it seems to be work, eat, work, game, eat, work, game, sleep, repeat. By the end of the day I just don't have the brain power for a book. Mindless games on the other hand...

Qwyksilver
I have a 17 month old. What's free time? In the past 2 weeks I have baked and decorated a cake, sewn a curious george costume, dyed and made a Man in the Yellow Hat costume, converted a witches hat into a Yellow one, read 2 books (Alastair Reynolds), watched the Red Sox and Patriots, helped my wife with some computer stuff, painted miniatures, played Mutants and Masterminds, completed orientation on new jobs, pushed swings about 200000 times, gone to story time, read 1 book 20 times to my daughter, assembled batman legos, took some pictures, cooked for sustence, cooked for pleasure, baked, made soup, watched a bunch of good stuff on TV, watched some really dreadful stuff on TV, slid on slides, played ball, played frisbee with the niece and nephews, climbed a tree, split an oak tree into firewood (thank god for hydraulic wedges), got shots, won an ebay auction, bought some stuff on Amazon, levelled an AD&D character, paid my bills (yuck), played with my old dog while visiting my mom, drove about 600 miles, spent about $110 on gas, washed my truck, towed some stuff for my stepdad, found my old Doc Martins, read some web comics, made some posts, swore at my brother for getting tickets for the World Series through his job, changed about 200 diapers, washed a dozen loads of laundry, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen floor, washed too many dishes even though I cooked and my wife is supposed to do dishes when I cook, drank coffee, drank beer, went to visit friends for dinner, went to a Halloween party, sleep..... Krztoff
Spend time with wife and cats. Also caring for the fish and hermit crabs. I love everything zombie related. Gaming of all kinds, although I've been slacking on video games lately. I still haven't beaten the latest Zelda, and I got it the day the Wii came out... I watch horror films, read (mostly horror and fantasy, followed by philosophy). I love music and try to have music on whenever possible, mostly death metal, black metal, and thrash metal, although there are a few cheesy power metal bands that I enjoy from time to time. I love paintball, but unfortunately, I haven't played since high school.
Bilesuck
Computer games, this week it's WOW, next week who knows. I change the game I play on the puter very frequently. Played Conan on 360 (ok game if you like button mashing fighting games) Did some artwork that made me look at it and ask what is wrong with me (thats usually a good sign that no one will like the piece) Did some artwork that made the GF look at me and ask "What the $#%^% is wrong with you?" (and shes been with me for ten years) watched some TV, and rented some DVD's. Found two airbrushes I didn't even know I had. Helped the GF decorate the porch for Halloween contest our complex is having.

Another Anthropologist! Tell her I say Hi! My specialty (when I go back to school for a Masters and Phd) is going to be Paleopathology . . . I've done many a excavation of human remains . . . usually crumbled and almost dustlike but still! I had to be blessed by a Pima medicine man too in order to continue working with their burials. They don't like women digging up their dead, they believe the spirits will harm females and any potential off spring.
