orcsoul
So I'm wondering about the variations between buying individual grunt blisters and the matching boxes of 8-9 grunts that you have a choice of these days. If I were to buy say 8 individual onyx phalanx, would I get the same sculpt 8 times over? Wheras buying the 8 phalanx box would get me some alternative sculpts? If you are buying from a flgs or online retailer if you buy singles it will always be the same figure, but nine packs or box sets if you can find them will have the alternate sculpts. But if you buy from Reaper directly, you can get the various sculpts as singles if they are in the Boneyard.
Brushmaster
rgtriplec is right , but sometimes it takes a while before some make it to the boneyard or get alternative sculps .
Saint Vierzehn
You might want to think about the point cost of the models that you're considering buying in bulk. Generally speaking, models that cost 40+ points are best used in very limited quantities. Models that cost < 35 points usually make a good backbone for your army, and are the things you might consider buying in bulk. -StV.
orcsoul
Yea that thought crossed my mind.. but I like to have alternative sculpts too :P
Kizmett
something else to consider. I have been looking at prices. single dad on a tight budget i have to look at those things. I have noticed that the sets are more cost effective if you are in need of that many. if you only need one or two to fill out a group no worries.
