Jester
It's been some time since I last picked up a brush... face it, it's been a long damn time. And since I'm no longer in the commission business, sometimes the desire to paint just isn't there... Anyway, I've finished off a piece or two lately, and I wanted to show off Tre Manor's "Friar Stone". I really love Tre's work and I am looking forward to having more of his pieces in my gallery. Anyway, as I finish a piece here or there I'll post as I see fit. Between a new job and the increasing demands of the family finding time to paint is precious. But I'm still chuggin' away... occasionally. Thanks!

fieldarchy
YAY Jester! You're back! It hasn't been the same around here with out you man! He looks really good! You are the second person to use shades of greens and reds on him. Seems that is his color scheme
Midnight Lurker
So smoooooth! Soft blends, clear colors, hot NMM, and I love the liquid in the bottle. I've seen that done before but never had the courage to try it myself. Great execution!
Spike
Hey Jester! I"ve missed you tons! I like the colour choices a lot, but what really stands out is his beard. It's yellow like how a red-haired man's beard turns when he gets older. The freehand work round the edge of his cloak is also quite an eye-popper. Jester
Well, I couldn't decide if I wanted this guy in grey/black, browns, or green/red leather. Green was the first color I grabbed so it won out. Nice to be painting again - even with limited time. Although I must confess I don't remember how long I spent painting. After GenCon, I think my days of speeding are over.
