smokingwreckage
Only, I started out playing in a Rolemaster group, where the really gruesome bad stuff almost always happened anyway. The buttheads in the group (the only group) were all about lvl 6 (which is pretty high for RM) and geared up to the eyeballs, and I had to try to keep up with them with a lvl3 weef with starting equipment. Worse yet, all stats were random as was everything but skill ranks, and death abounded. I went thru a character a session more or less. Moderator Froggy the Great Posted October 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2002 Or at least they'd be rated with their D20 rating, where a roll of that or higher meant they worked. I think I had better shut up now and let people continue with their on-topic posting.
lstormhammer
Ahem: Actually, there's a giant listing of things just like that. For those GMs who really need to get their players out of the tavern, and on the adventure. Look for 'Sex and DnD' (though if you put it in asearch engine, expect a lot of chaff before you get wheat) It's a lot of suprisingly good info, including things like 'The chance of a half-breed child if X female and X male got it on'. Absolutly off topic, but I've also posted how it started for me. --lstormhammer, v2.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted October 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2002 Oh dear lord... Anyhoo, I didn't start painting minis as such until I realized I could paint, and that I could see all these cool pewter people so much better if I painted them. Not sure what happened in there to spark that realization.
