Mad Jack
Ooh, *nice* work on the fingers... They look just a tiny bit thicker than the other two, but nobody's ever going to notice unless you point out that you redid the hand. She's just looking better and better. Versutus Vulpes
Tanker - This is absolutely amazing... Great work on the fingers - and she is coming together so well... You MUST be getting stoked about this one! The green still takes my breath away - her eyes look amazing - I can't wait to see how she looks once you start adding some depth and tone in her skin. Now if you'll excuse me - I need to go hunt for one of these larger kits... You have given me the bug good and proper kind sir!
tanker22
Thanks everyone Overall I'm pleased with the fingers and the way she is comming out, Yeah VV I'm pretty stoked over her so far. Really alot of fun doing a larger resin kit like this and its all brush if you can believe it, havnt got my air brush up and runnning yet. Just got word from Vhaidra that a pegaso 200mm kit she ordered for me came in. Was alot cheaper for her to pick it up in germany with the exchange rate being so bad right now. Really anxious to start on that on, unfortunatly will have to be linked for nudity though Here she is if any one is interested in seeing her, very cool IMO. She ordered it direct so it was much cheaper than the listed price here thankfully Warning!- Link contains nudity Natasha Any comments on the spear shaft? it is metal so as of yet I have not paint on it at all. Was thinking of leaving it like that. For anyone that is interested here is the link to solorwinds site, very nice looking stuff and the price is decent as well. Solorwind Productions Thanks again Chris
PurityThruFire
Tank, you've got to paint the metal shaft of her weapon. While I muist admit it looks fine now, everything looks 10 times better when it's all got paint on it. The fingers look great. awesome work on your first greenstuff job. So, dare I ask what 200mm Pegaso kit you are picking up, man I still want that Fire Elemental badly. You're probably going to need that airbrush up and running for a 200mm kit. tanker22
Think you may be right about the 200mm PTF. Doing all the skin in this update was a real pain with a brush. Also I guess my reasoning with not painting the staff was why paint something to look like metal that all ready is and looks good? I dont know, still havnt decided what to do with it. Ok, here is what I would call the rough draft on her skin with the oils. Will have to give it a few days before I can go back and touch up on the highlights and shadows if need be. I was going for the really dark tan with her, kind of the bronzed skin look. The glossy look is due to the oils still being wet, that will get fixed once she is dry and dull coated. Also just put the other arm on unpainted so you can see the difference between the base color and what I have so far. I think we have some competition for the Klockenbooty as well So how does she look? Comments ? Thanks, Chris
Enchantra
I think we have some competition for the Klockenbooty as well Chris, Klockenbooty does have competition in this piece! Granted I have some other comments about the booty, but I'll refrain from saying those here. Skin tones are coming along great. I keep eyeing up W&N's artisan water-mixable oil paints at work. I'd love to give oils a try but I'm a tad scared since the last time I touched oil paints was in like tenth grade. That and my patience with drying times fits more in line with acrylics. I'll have to comment more when you show the finished skin. I like the tanned skin look.
dargrin
To quote Fonzy "AAAAAEEEEEEEEEEE" I am late for this one, man this is coming out great. Skin is fantastic. A++ work so far.
vhaidra
Hi Chris I looked up the link you've sent me, great stuff!!! The Lady here looks very nice, good job at the clothes, the face and the skin so far (have to see it again when you go on highlighting again). Beautiful sculpt, can't wait to see it when it is finished, please write a message to me then.

tanker22
After a long break heres an update on her. In my normal rush to get done I ended up making more work for myself as usual and had to redo most of her. I'm about 90% done now, just need to finish the boots and a bit of touch up on the skin around them and her cloths. Sure I'll find a few other little things as well, I always do Changed the skin tone some as well, I think I like it better like this anyway. Included some close ups, not sure how they will look on the zoom though, might just show off the mistakes better let me know if you see anything that might need some tweaking, thanks Chris
Enchantra
No tweaking required. Those jewels are just amazing, they look real!

Enchantra
No tweaking required. Those jewels are just amazing, they look real! Yeah, what Enchantra said. And that was my reserved comment as I replied in much greater detail over email to him. I may add here those skins tones have a beautiful translucency to them as well. Mad Jack
It may just be me or my monitor, but it looks like her stomach isn't quite as tan as the rest of her... Looking closely at the pics, her stomach, and now that I look at it, the small of her back as well, don't look the same color as the skin areas on the other side of the bathing suit. They don't quite have the same tanned look to them. Overall, this piece is kicking major butt, can't wait to see it finished.
