murakumo
well.... no real explanations needed really.... this guy took me far less time then some of my latest pieces (maybe ten hours) and yet I have to say I think he's the best thing I have yet to do. One of my rare unit choices in my Lizardmen army for fantasy Warhammer.
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted January 2, 2008 Moderator Share Posted January 2, 2008 Yes, very well executed. Your abilities have progressed nicely since you first started. This guy looks very clean and sharp. The paint is nice and smooth. I like your color scheme, especially the red dorsal fin. Well, done. CuCulain42
I like the basing. What did you use?
murakumo
it's called "rain dear" moss and it comes form Michal's. It's over in the fake plants/vases section. I like it a lot better then the Spanish moss since ti comes in full sheets that you can then crumble up into any shape and or size you need. I cut the sheets into thirds along it's length so that is super thin then I can push or pull strands up to make it look more like underbrush.
