fieldarchy
Well guys let me know what you think. I actually worked with the photos a bit more this time and I think they came out pretty good and smooth. Also I tried something different by adding a familiar to him. I snipped the bird off of it's base and then painted him up and attached him to Elladen. It was a fun project and I think it adds character. To me, it says that Elladen just got surprised and is ready to fight as his familiar flies away to do some scouting for him. WolfDreamerNZ
Well guys let me know what you think. I actually worked with the photos a bit more this time and I think they came out pretty good and smooth. Much better on the photography! At full size the pic is clear, sharp, not overly sharpened, the contrast show up nicely and is a great size. Well done! I love the idea for the familiar - perfect! My only nit pick would be the sword blades - they look unfinished, but that could be my monitor eating some of the details?
tanker22
Everything looks really good on him Meg, nice highlighting and color, base looks really good as well, but I would have to agree on the sword blades as well, they kind of take away from the rest of a very well painted mini
fieldarchy
Yeah I think I'll stick to NMM from now on for my metals. He was an experiment to go back and try metals again but the swords didn't come out nearly as nice as they could have. Glad the photography is better. I've spent way too much time of late playing with GIMP and I think I finally have it down.
Bluesabre
Looks, good. Like the idea of sticking the familiar on him as well, pretty cool.

LordColdsteal
Really nice skin. Very crisp paint job. I'd really love to see you do NMM.
TomBom
Great work! Nice colours, familiar fits well, and I just love the base! The flowers look great, I should fetch some myself... Do you paint them, or are they too fragile for that?
Sergeant_Crunch
Another excellent mini. If you were just doing a tabletop mini the swords would've been fine, but they lack the detail of the rest of the painting. Before giving up entirely on metallics, try using the same concepts from NMM but with metallic paints. The freehand on the cloak is well done, but I don't think it really adds anything to piece. Everything else is excellent and way above my meager talents. I'd also like to say that I like the colors chosen.
