kristof65
Anvil - that's cool. How do you store all that stuff? Every card stock thing I've made just doesn't stand up over long term storage. Ahhh I wnat to play in a game now Move to Denver, and you can play in mine
anvil
www.worldworksgames.com is where everything is from. I store it in a bucket in my closet away from the 2yr old. The larger buildings are made of foamcore so they stand up to abuse pretty well. Of course that was their first game, so time will tell. The palm trees are from a big "Bucket O' Dino's" my son got for christmas. I have cardstock versions of them as well, but these were much easier. I had grand plans for a huge village to be made over my xmas break, but never got around to printing it all out. The board wouldn't have held them all if I had so that worked out. Thanks all for the comments. I'm particularly proud of the well, it was the most "involved" of the pieces. now maybe I'll get some painting done

Oh and wasn't there a mini of mine that SUCKED so bad you wanted to properly dispose of if for me? Somehow I think my whole battle hive might go missing
Spike
Wow that's a pretty cool gametable Anvil! Those palms remind me a bit of the ones that come with the Lego pirate toys too. I like them. The buildings kind of remind me of the Miniature Building Authority ones in style. How'd you do the ground mat? Is that FunkyFoam or some other terrain product. It looks nice too, and is gridded (smart move).

Somehow I think my whole battle hive might go missing Hey, I don't steal - now, of course, that wouldn't stop me from trying to talk you into storing it at my place. But it would always be yours... Those palms remind me a bit of the ones that come with the Lego pirate toys too. I like them. They look exactly like the ones that came with a set of dinasaurs my son got - the palms, a bunch of dinasaurs and a plastic volcano, too, IIRC. Is that right Anvil? How'd you do the ground mat? Is that FunkyFoam or some other terrain product. It looks nice too, and is gridded (smart move). A lot of the World Works products come with printable mat or base pieces like that - my guess is they're also from World Works.
Rastl
I brace the inside of my VillageWorks pieces with craft sticks. I found that they start to curve otherwise. Craft sticks keep that from happening and solidify them for placement. Looks way too cool!
Chastity
Worldworksgames Village Works and Skull Cove for the Savage Tide adventure path in the now defunct Dungeon Magazine. This is the colony of Farshore. Hey, I'm playing in the same module right now (we've just left for Farshore)! Anyways ... I really like the sets you've built. Ever since I'd heard about worldworksgames, I've always considered getting some of the pieces - it's nice to see how they turn out.

anvil
The Skullcove set (and most others) come with ground tiles to print out. These are glued (badly) to a 20"X30" piece of foamcore. Aileen's tacky glue is something I need more practice with.
Orsino
I brace the inside of my VillageWorks pieces with craft sticks. I found that they start to curve otherwise. Craft sticks keep that from happening and solidify them for placement. Light dustings of spray-on laquer seem to help, too.
