Krazy Kid PSx
When i started this one i wanted it to become really dark, and not as bright or as "scared" as the one from the reaper site. Unfortunately I'm not certain if i succeeded. here are shots of the wash and prime, and then the paint.
PurityThruFire
She looks good, I agree that she is much better off with a darker colour scheme. My only advice would be working on bringing up your highlights. You DON'T need to bring them all the way up to white but they could certainly use to come up a few notches. Good work all-in-all. Good work all-in-all. thank you, Im still not done with this one since i havent placed it on its base yet, but looking at it more and more what is bothering me is that on the breast, her "bra" if you could those bone pieces arnt as bright as i would want them, I might just outline it with black to make it stand out more and maybe paint the bones them selves a bit darker. oh and i got to work on that staff, i really want to darken it up, I might butt some Rust or more or a darker wood or something to really make it stand out. :D any suggestions on the parts im talking about? PurityThruFire
I would go ahead and darkline the bone breast plate she has. I wouldn't go with black for lining it though, just take some Reaper brown liner, thin it a titch and run it along the places where the bone meets flesh, it will really make it stand out. Black can be a little harsh. Dark lining is really great for helping to punch up colours and makes things much more aesthetically pleasing. I guess ill just sit back wait for the base and then go ahead and paint it all together. Ill update the images once ive done so. :D
