tanker22
We'll her she is at last. Was alot of first times on this one for me but was really a lot of fun to do and like how she came out. Of course everything is done in oils except the detailing. Have to say I like doing the larger Resin kits and plan on a few more in the future. I'll do another Wip as soon as I get the 200mm Pegaso kit in from Germany, hopefully it will arrive in a few days. Thanks again, Chris

Thes Hunter
The coloring/shading/blending/etc on the skin gives it an amazing life like quality. It is really really good!
evergrin
She is beautiful and hot. I like her green outfit. : )
Versutus Vulpes
Meh.... So so I guess... Just kidding of course!!! Tanker - she is absolutely fantastic. This definately gets me wanting to actually use the oils I bought (which I bought because of your Sophie WIP I might add). The skin tones are incredible, and like I say in every post in your WIP - I love the way the green cloth came out. Seriously - seriously - seriously great stuff! (I definately am looking forward to your 200MM project.)
PurityThruFire
Awesome man, you really went above and beyond with her skin. It looks crazy good. She is your best work to date. Can't wait to see what you've got coming from Pegaso, gonna' be time to break that airbrush out.
tanker22
Thank you everyone, I'm glad you all enjoy her. It was alot of fun doing a larger kit like this, I think I'm hooked now. May be a bit on the 200mm Pegaso kit, the resin is alot harder and will require quiet a lot of clean up so I will need to get a dremel I think. Was kind of surprised, have to admit the solorwind was alot better in this sense, with as much as Pegaso charges I was expecting better qality I suppose. I find bead reamers help, especially the diamond coated ones. Don't use the ones meant for pearls, they clog to easily and break to easily. http://www.firemountaingems.com/shopping.a...kw=KWTOOLREAMER Beware of cheap imitations of Dremel tools. I know several people over on the Bonsai forum where I moderate who have bought cheap knock-off of dremels and thought they were saving money by paying half the price of a Dremel. The problem is that some of them had some serious issues like over-heating, or chucks that would come loose from vibration during use. Pay the extra for the real Dremel, it's worth the cost. Some of the polishing and engraving bits - especially the carbide or diamond coated ones will be the most helpful to you. In bonsai they use Dremels for carving dead-wood effects on trees to make them look old and rugged - like a tree that has survived a lightning strike. The brands that seem to pull through the rigors are Dremel, Black and Decker, Ryobi, and Craftsman. Be wary of anything else.
