skya
Was there ever a final answer on whether we're allowed WIP online? I'm hoping they are..
Heisler
Oh, and I am considering taking a page from Sue at Gen Con and making WIP shots online legal; you just can't have posted/published the finished work anywhere. But I have not made that change yet, so for now please keep your entries private. --Anne Was there ever a final answer on whether we're allowed WIP online? I'm hoping they are.. Based on this answer from Anne earlier, I'm going to take that as a no for this year.
cutebutpsycho
So, to clarify, for CAV minis that do not fit on a CAV hex base, may we make a base which the mini will fit on?
Heisler
So, to clarify, for CAV minis that do not fit on a CAV hex base, may we make a base which the mini will fit on? Almost. If the CAV mini comes with a base then it must be mounted on a base of the proper dimensions. It is certainly allowable for the mini to overhang the CAV base (most mechs do). If the CAV mini did not come on a base (most vehicles don't) then it does not have to be mounted on a base. If you decide to mount it on a base then it must be on a CAV base although it can overhang the base.
LunchBox
I talked with Anne at length this weekend, and she said she felt an appropriate base size was within the spirit of the competition. For instance, a CAV tank mounted on a (GW) calvary base that barely sticks out is obviously more for protection, than true display pruposes. It seems that as long as the 'spirit' of the competition is held in tact, there is some wiggle room, as long as it is not abused.
