It's a fun scenario and and a great board. I'm going to do the clock tower so you can see what time it is on the whole board.

The picture with the view down the river is my favorite.

FYI all the interior stuff is scratch buildt by Castle builder. He really makes some incredable stuff

Please elaborate... interior stuff like those crates, bags, chest, bowls, and produce?

How was most of this constructed and what medium? Sculpted from foam? Hirst Art molds and plaster?

I linked this thread to a friend, she asked, and we are both curiouse!

Thanks !_!

Most of the interior furnishings (furniture, bowls, produce, etc.) were made from scratch, some of the other things were Hirst arts I believe (Castlebuilder could tell you for certain).

The buildings were made from various Hirst Arts blocks, balsa/bass wood, foamboard. For the Hirst Arts stuff, dental plaster was used.

I'll put up some more pics as soon as I get the chance. The boards/buildings have been taken down and are in the process of being 'touched up/finished' for Origins. However, I should be able to get pictures of some of the buildings/components.

The largest construction medium was Hirst Arts molds. I have almost everything except a couple Egyptian and the Sci-Fi molds, plus Sergei has a few of his own. Some upper floors were made with foam board, and a couple roofs with various techniques. With three guys working on the project, it was neat to see what the other ones came up with. When you seperate the buildings by who built them, each has a unique style.

The interior stuff was a combination from different areas. The barrels and crates under the stairs are from Grendel, and the rest of the boxes and crates are from a Hirst Arts mold (#85). The bowls of stuff were fun to create. The bowls themselves are from the doll house/wooden items section of Hobby Lobby. (Wait till you see what Outek did with the large wooden thimbles). The fruits & veggies in the bowls came from two things. The round "apples & melons" are from different sized lead shot (used in shotgun rounds). The leafy stuff is from different kinds of seasoning.

If we can get pics of the other buildings I can explain some of that stuff too.

I checked my camera. Dummy me didn't take any pics of the interiors I did. The only interior pic I took was of the church. Here it is:

I also took a nice shot of my Crusaders charging up the main street. Here's that one:

If Outek and/or Sergi don't have any pics of my Inn, I'll dig it out of storage and take some. I'm reall tickled with the Inn.
