Ya because its primary role is still as an Attack gunship. Its now closer to the old Hind-24's

How does this interact with the force construction rules? The wording makes it clear they can not be taken in a transport section, but can they ever be taken as part of Mech. Inf., or do they have to be flight/specialist?

Any chance of getting the OEM thing fixed? Seems the faction version is supposed to be the OEM, and the Open version is the one with after market parts in it.

Just a thought.

Very subtle changes to the Rhino but now it is truly a nightmare.

I just took a look at it and it's definitely brown trousers time if your opponent's playing Ritterlich. ::o:

The Thunderbird is still awesome, but now I'm going have to convince people to play much bigger games in order to field them. (Comforting to know that only the Terrans can afford something this expensive.) ::P:

Also, has there been a change in regards to what type of unit can have AA? Kind of curious as the only Terran model that had it no longer does.

Good work that you guys have done so far.

Ok, the Hawk VI got Piercing/1 on its GGCs, like that. I also like that the Ronins RAV for its GCs got pumped upto 3, with Piercing/5 he really is a "tank destroyer" now. Thunderbird now has Piercing/5 on his PBGs to match the Thunderhawk, nice.

I am only waiting for the Open models and the Kitbashes, I am curious what the Terror came out to be. I like to use a couple of Terrors as DF support for my T-birds and put my T-hawks in 'Striker' units with Ronins and Hawk VIs.

Wow, the Tbird was expensive before, now it's just plain silly the cost. Though from the looks of it you get what you pay for.

I'm really wanting to see the Rach cards and how my precious Dictators and Emperor come out of the wash.

Yeah, the points values tell me that 2500pts is going to be the basement level for games from now on. Looks like 4000-5000pts necessary before I can field more than 1 or 2 T-birds. I love the looks on opposing players when I put 6 T-birds, 4 Terrors, 4 T-hawks and 4 OEM Rhinos on the table. (last time I got to do that was a multi-player "bring 'n battle" game. Bring 'n Battle= bring what you have painted and battle it out. I think last time we guesstimated 40000-50000pts between the 6 players on 1 6x12 main table and 2 6x8 flank battles. Started Saturday morning and ended about 3am Sunday. God I love it. :poke:::D:

Stills crumbles after taking 1 damage, though. Never liked that about it - very fragile for a super. Way to easy to bring down after taking a point - he needs to stay as far away from the opponent as possible. If your opponent is running up on you, bye-bye T-Bird.

The problem is evn worse for the T-Hawk. He needs to be out in the open to be effective.

As cool as they are, I have seen them crumble way too much for me to invest in them.
